  • Develop and maintain SharePoint solutions to support Navy program SharePoint sites

  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, InfoPath forms and work flows according to requirements provided by the customer

  • Create XML web parts and customize using XSL coding

  • Use jQuery and SP services to enhance user interface

  • Enhance HTML pages using HTML coding and JavaScript. Create well-structured and easily maintainable JavaScript code

  • Style HTML pages using CSS

  • Create robust and efficient SharePoint Apps using client-side programming

  • Use client object model and REST API to communicate with SharePoint server

  • Create custom workflows using Visual Studio or SharePoint Designer to automate business operations

  • Design Web applications using MVC mode

  • Build highly responsive and interactive Ajax enabled ASP.NET Web Forms applications

  • Customize the appearance and behavior of user interface elements using JQuery

  • Customize site navigation and branding

  • Build simple and advanced KQL queries

  • Create and configure BDC models in SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio

  • 2+ years' experience in the following:

  • Building all aspects of SharePoint sites

  • Software development including InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, XML, XSL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS

  • Developing client-side SharePoint applications

  • Developing performance Dashboards using SQL/Oracle/Access Databases

  • Using SharePoint for document management

  • Effective use of written and spoken communication skills across organizational layers and technical disciplines

  • Effective time management skills


  • Experience with DoD web servers and systems

  • Experience working with classified systems

  • Experience upgrading and/or migrating SharePoint version

  • Experience with a configuration management tool such as GitHub

  • Experience with Microsoft Access Experience with PowerShell and Visual Studio

KPMG is currently seeking a Temporary Manager, SharePoint Administration to join our Digital Nexus technology organization for a twelve-month assignment. Responsibilities: * Manage the SharePoint support team, build, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, maintain enterprise-wide SharePoint farms and provide support for both third party and internally developed applications * Partner with Solutions Architects and other technology teams to review proposed architectures and ensure projects deliverables are met * Perform code review, automate administrative tasks and provide guidance to team members * Maintain up to date knowledge of new software developments, evaluate alternative approaches and recommend new software or modifications to enhance operations and development activities * Consult with IT staff and clients to determine the impact of new updates to SharePoint and other Middleware environments Qualifications: * Minimum five years of experience administrating SharePoint, SQL Server, windows, IIS with at least five years of SharePoint application development experience * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university * Strong SharePoint application development background and in-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2013, 2016, and 2019 as well as other related products such as AvePoint, Control Point, Storage Point, SQL Server and Microsoft .Net Framework * In-depth Knowledge of Microsoft Power Shell, IIS, Office Web Apps, Microsoft Workflow Manager, SSRS, SSAS Add-ins for SharePoint, C#, SharePoint object Model and experience supporting Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2019 * Ability to provide support in a 24/7 environment * U.S. Citizenship is required KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
