SharePoint Developer, Junior

We need an experienced front end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to solve problems in DoD by collaborating with a development team to build SharePoint with user-centric design. You'll coordinate UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using SharePoint. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. 1+ years of experience with full software development life cycle activities
1+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Office, Windows 2003 or later, SQL Server, IIS, Access, or Visual Basic
1+ years of experience in developing portals with SharePoint Server and SharePoint Portal Services infrastructure, architecture, implementation, configuration, management, and support
Experience with developing custom SharePoint Web parts using .NET
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with HTML, CSS, Java, AJAX, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and XML a plus
Experience with supporting the DoD, including in a knowledge management or information management organization
Experience with interfacing SharePoint to Microsoft Office 2007 products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or Visio
Knowledge of Web 2.0 principles, including navigation, usability, and accessibility
BA or BS degree in CS, Mathematics, or other technical field
