Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a multi-billion government contracting tech firm who is seeking a SharePoint BI Consultant  to join their team on a 6 month contract basis.Title: SharePoint BI Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Herndon, VA
Hourly Rate: Market Rate
Job Type: Contract (6 months)As a SharePoint BI Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions within the SharePoint environment. You will collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, analyze data requirements, and develop custom BI solutions to drive informed decision-making and enhance business performance.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within SharePoint.
• Design, develop, and implement SharePoint-based business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Configure and customize SharePoint features and functionalities to optimize BI capabilities.
• Integrate data from various sources and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SharePoint and business intelligence technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer or Consultant, with a focus on business intelligence solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
• Expertise in BI tools and technologies, such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Proficient in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in SharePoint and/or business intelligence.
• Experience with SharePoint integration with other Microsoft products, such as Dynamics 365 and Office 365.
• Knowledge of SharePoint development frameworks, such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and SharePoint Designer.
