We currently have an opening for an SharePoint Administrator.

The SharePoint Administrator will be the business, technical, and development lead on the Microsoft 365 Online environment and Power Platform products for the Office of State Human Resources. This position will be responsible for overseeing site access, creating and maintaining applications, developing dashboards, and collaborating with and supporting end users in development and implementation of Microsoft 365 platform products.

Duties include, but are not limited, to:

  • SharePoint online site administration including building sites, pages, modifying, deleting, and managing permissions.

  • Develop new, test, implement, and maintain current Power Apps applications and Power Automate flows and 3rd party integrations.

  • Troubleshoot new and standing issues with SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 products for a resolution.

  • Project management of ongoing and new development of SharePoint sites or Power Platform products while keeping site of other divisional projects and goals.

  • Communicate with technical and non-technical people to collect requirements, understand issues, and discern business process needs regarding Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.

  • Develop technical documentation, user guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for record keeping and training purposes.

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports for business needs.

  • Evaluate new technology solutions to support OSHR's business operations and processes.

  • Coordinate with DIT on current Microsoft 365 environment changes, implementation, maintenance, or issues.

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following:

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing SharePoint fundamentals such as out of the box web parts, lists, document libraries, workflows, templates, permissions, and/or site collections

  • Demonstrated experience developing Power Platform products such as PowerApps, Power Automate, and/or Power BI with an understanding of formulas and development methods

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and/or WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) compliance

  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for security, design, placement, and/or workflow of Microsoft 365 Products

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical as well as non-technical staff

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business application consulting or development;

or

Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in application consulting or development;

or

High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and six years of experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
