Position Overview

E3/Sentinel seeks a Web/SharePoint Developer and Administrator to support the the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO) Enterprise System Security Division (ESSD). The selected candidate will be empowered to provide expert technical support across multiple SharePoint sites and to collaborate across Executive Leadership, Management, and Contributor personnel DHS-wide.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and customer service support to SharePoint sites across applicable networks

  • Apply ADOBE and scripting techniques to adapt SharePoint sites to interface with web technologies

  • Maintain all access control over the web and SharePoint sites

  • Enhance the structure, user interface, and accessibility to improve document sharing and collaboration across the organization

  • Maintain and enhance the components, look, and feel of the parent site and sub-sites

  • Implement SharePoint workflow to automate simple business processes

  • Provide operations and maintenance of web and SharePoint sites. Assist in developing data collaboration and access to publications using SharePoint Services in support of programs and corporate meetings. This includes assistance with the requirements, design, operation and maintenance of the web presence to include coordination with team members to make sure all information is relevant and up-to-date.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or related field

  • 6 plus years experience (IT or relevant field)

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD and DHS Suitability clearance

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work in deadline-driven environment and efficiently handle multiple priorities.

  • Team player with the ability to interact with customers at all levels of government.

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: ANSER is seeking a senior tasker/knowledge manager to support the Joint Requirements Office for CBRN Defense. This analyst will manage taskers for the Office, coordinating with various government agencies and stakeholders to provide timely responses to official requests for information using the Joint Staff Action Process (JSAP) system. The analyst also works with the JRO Chief of Staff and Detachment Sergeant to create and maintain secure and easily retrievable electronic files of the Office's administrative, security, personnel management, budget execution and contract administration actions on both the Joint Staff's Unclassified and Secret computer networks. He/she also works with the functional Branch Chiefs to create and manage SharePoint and successor software organizational and collaboration sites and controls permissions and content of such sites. Primary duties will include (but not limited to) : * Coordinate and manage taskers in the JSAP and/or CATMS systems. Coordinate schedules and activities with all stakeholders. * Establish, maintain and update online branch and project websites, databases and collaborative work spaces using such approved Joint Staff software as SharePoint and any other software the Joint Staff may implement. Design and maintain a SharePoint site architecture that is responsive to current and future needs and ensures the near real-time coordination, review and storage of documents. * Assist in the use of information systems, including, but not limited to: Defense Enterprise E-mail (DEE); Intelink; Defense Collaboration Service (DCS); Knowledge Management/Decision Support (KM/DS); Defense On-line Transfer Service Web Transfer Portal (DOTS); MILConnect; the Joint Staff Portal; Secure Video Teleconferencing (SVTC); Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP); and any other computer system implemented during the life of the contract. . * Attend meetings as required. Provide administrative support to client as needed. * Assist in training with the use of the information systems and Sharepoint. * Obtains and maintains any security clearances, status or licenses required by client to perform work. Performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience creating and managing electronic records systems. * Demonstrated understanding of SharePoint at the user, owner and administrator levels. * Knowledge of creating and managing electronic records systems and Joint Staff Action Processing (JSAP) system and procedures.
