Description
Under direction, the Shared Services Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and creating greater efficiencies, value and cost savings throughout the County by sharing equipment, services and staffing. The candidate will facilitate and identify opportunities for shared services between County departments, divisions, offices, its fifty-three municipalities, educational institutions and authorities.
The Shared Services Coordinator will continue to partner with the municipalities to explore, develop and implement new and creative services to reduce duplication, promote greater efficiencies and cost savings for our taxpayers.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications to be considered:
Experience in and/or working knowledge of municipal government
Contract management and negotiation
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Grant writing experience
Essential Functions:
Is responsible for facilitating shared service agreements between local governments and authorities.
Ensures the program and its partners comply with existing agreements.
Establishes guidelines for the effective delivery of shared services.
Identifies opportunities, develops and implements new shared services with local entities.
Plans and conducts countywide and regional meetings on shared services related topics.
Ability to research and apply for grant funding related to shared services.
