Job Description:

Job Summary

The Shared Services Accountant will actively manage Billing and Collections activities for specific customers as well as assist with Treasury functions. Ability to take on ad-hoc tasks such as financial analysis, setting up customers in ERP system and helping with Billing activities would be required. Superior interpersonal and communication skills while interfacing with external as well as internal customers is a pre-requisite. This individual will also be required to maintain and report on a database of delinquent Invoices.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Advanced Excel User (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Index-Match)

  • Hands-on working knowledge of the following ERP systems preferred:

  • Syteline

  • Navision

Soft Skills:

  • Team-player who puts the needs of the business first and demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude to complete time-sensitive billing activities that directly impact cash-flow

  • Good communicator verbally and over e-mail

  • Ability to work under pressure and work as required to deliver before deadlines

  • Can be customer-facing as required

  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate colleagues and co-workers

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related area preferred

VIEW JOBS 10/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-05T00:00 The Associate Business Systems Analyst (ABSA) supports the IS Training Team and its customers. Under the direction of the Principal Instructional Designer, the ABSA will provide primary customer support for IS Training inquiries from both email and support tickets. This candidate will also assist with the adoption and maintenance of IS Training tools, licenses and applications. The ABSA must possess the critical thinking skills and curiosity to identify and implement innovative process improvement initiatives that will reduce operational inefficiencies. This dynamic candidate must possess stellar customer service skills, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ABSA should have some experience with and expect to develop skills in the following: customer relations, project management, process improvement, human centered design and related fields. Provides operational support for IS Training team a. Responds to requests from IS Training customers and assists with IS Training registration, troubleshooting and verification. b. Maintains updated course catalogue with current IS Training classes and training plans in the learning management system (LMS). c. Assists in coordinating room and resource scheduling. d. Actively participates in the creation of and adherence to IS Training guidelines, standards and procedures (whereas not specified by IS Shared Services). e. Applies sound, evidence based judgements and contributes to the decision making process as appropriate. Provides technical support for IS Training tools and processes a. Demonstrates technical aptitude to assist in supporting IS Training tools including, but not limited to authoring tools, document repositories and video editing software. b. Assists in researching, creating and updating reference documentation. c. Provides support for and participates in process improvement initiatives, software release updates or projects related to IS Training. d. Provide timely follow-up on issues with accurate resolutions and escalates any associated risks or issues. e. With guidance from Principal Instructional Designer, assists with technical training for IS Training courses Promotes professional growth and development through continuing education, training and research a. Actively participates in various meetings to maintain working knowledge of training processes and tools. b. Independently engages in learning opportunities to remain abreast of current/future industry trends and standards. c. Collaborates with IS Training subject matter experts. d. Identifies training needs and education opportunities. e. Actively seeks constructive feedback to improve individual, team and departmental capabilities. Other duties as assigned Education Required: Bachelor's degree. Experience Required: None. May substitute required education degree with additional years of related experience on a one to one basis. Preferred Experience: Experience in an Information Technology and/or an academic healthcare setting. Experience working at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Admin experience with Learning Management Systems, SharePoint or Cherwell. Experience with customer support, resource scheduling or process improvements are preferred.
