Job Description:


Develops and cultivates strong relationships with key constituents (producers, plan sponsors and/or consumers depending on business) to maximize sales opportunities and achieve profitable growth in the Small Group business segment.

Fundamental Components:

  • Oversees a block of business or may develop new business opportunities to ensure profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution and superior service.

  • Ensures product, pricing and services meet client's needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives.

  • Manages and builds producer relations as needed depending on book of business or market segment(s) being supported.

  • Identifies various ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line illustrating a keen understanding of client's multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetna's full product array (e.g., fully vs. self-insured, combination of products and/or covers a range of industries).

  • Collaborates with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers and to support post-sale activities.

  • Coordinates sales materials, testimonials and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of constituent presentations. May participate in constituent meetings including finals presentations.

  • Develops/maintains and communicates expertise on products, industry and emerging marketplace trends.

1-5+ years of industry and sales experience depending on business segment being supported and the products and services being sold.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

About the Job As a Channel Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling Asure Software HCM solutions (Evolution, Asure HRM and Asure Force) to Service Bureau Organizations (SBOs) including traditional payroll service bureaus, accounting firms, brokers and other benefits providers, financial institutions and any other entities where HCM is offered to their clients and is strategic to their growth. You will be driving new business through developing and implementing a sound sales strategy, actively networking, cold calling, attending industry conferences and other creative methods for business development. You will be prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, delivering compelling sales pitches to owners and senior executives, building strong relationships and solid pipelines and achieving and exceeding sales quotas. Responsibilities include: * Self-generating and managing marketing generated leads to build a solid pipeline that assures quota attainment * Setting up calls and meetings with decision makers primarily owners and senior executives * Presenting the values of a partnership with Asure beyond just product features and functionality during all phases of the sales cycle * Understanding the prospect's business needs and market challenges * Negotiating sound financial agreements which are win-win solutions for Asure and clients * Conducting product demonstrations and presenting the value of partnering with Asure with prospects * Understanding your territory and the business development opportunities for growth * Diligently recording sales activities in Sales Force and providing accurate and realistic sales projections About You * Bachelor's Degree or higher * Minimum of 5 years consultative software sales experience * Experience selling an HCM SaaS solution preferred * Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment * Strong self-motivation to excel * Experience managing multiple sales engagements effectively * Proven relationship building and client service skills * Proven ability to manage a territory producing exceptional results * Pro-active, results oriented and team oriented approach to sales * Experience with and other virtual selling tools such as GoToMeeting, Zoom, Webex or other comparable tools * Strong oral and written communication skills * Strong presentation and persuasion skills * Polished presenter of demos and webinars * Proven track record of consistent over-achievement of assigned sales quota Requirements Criminal Background Check Benefits, Perks etc...
