Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP) as required
Comply with Dart Container's policies and procedures
Perform machine set-ups. Perform approximately three to four set ups in a 12 hour schedule
Perform mechanical, electrical and pneumatic repairs and/or adjustments to keep up productivity
Control speed, fails and quality of products
Troubleshoot baggers, casers, printers and piff tubes
Keep work area clean
Maintain ink and set up standards
Complete change overs
Rebuild printer parts
Perform quality checks
Assist or help inspector packers when needed
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to work weekends as needed
Two (2) years mechanical experience
