Job Description

As a Set Up Mechanic III, Pharmacy, we'll count on you to:

  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, Federal and local laws.

  • Responsible for dispensing raw material as per Batch Record.

  • Responsible for replacing cleaning agent and collecting purified water.

  • Responsible for cleaning the Pharmacy common area including janitor and equipment storage room.

  • Responsible for checking the status of room to verify if clean was completed.

  • Responsible for checking the scales to ensure that it is within range.

  • Responsible for preparing the drums for each Batch Record, clean and bag.

  • Responsible for checking that raw material matches the work order and Batch Record.

  • Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • High School Diploma

  • Requires working knowledge of cGMP, DEA and other applicable industry regulatory requirements as they relate to the production of pharmaceutical products and associated quality systems.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequent:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment

  • Standing for extended periods of time at work station or equipment

  • Using fingers to perform activities such as picking, pinching or typing.

Occasional:

  • Walking to move short distances quickly and frequently

  • Twisting/Reaching turning at waist and extending hands and/or arms in any direction

  • Lifting raising from lower to upper and/or moving objects horizontally up to 25 lbs.

Visual Acuity:

  • Close visual acuity to perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection), using measurement devices and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at a distance close to the eyes.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists or gasses (for non-office).

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts or moving equipment.

  • Exposure to low to moderate to loud noise levels.

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed for assigned area and/or process (i.e. safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.).

Job Summary Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PMI); troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds major components on vehicles and equipment. Ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of components. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. * Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. * Performs preventive maintenance inspections and ensures the timely and effective repair of any problems identified during an inspection. * Performs proficient inspection, diagnosis and moderately complex repair of assigned vehicles and equipment. * Provides assistance, guidance and direction to other maintenance personnel. * Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. * Estimates time and material costs on repairs and requisitions new parts. * Advises supervisor immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs). * Inspects the quality of outside/supplier repairs and or rebuilds. Assesses structural damage and assigns needed repairs utilizing the most appropriate method(s). * Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns. * Conducts safety checks on vehicles. Performs maintenance related work as required. * In the absence of supervision may provide maintenance supervisory duties. III. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties. IV.
