SERVICING AND PORTFOLIO OVERSIGHT MANAGER (NON QM and RTL)

Position Summary
Ellington, through its correspondent loan purchase platform, acquires Consumer and Business Purpose Non QM loans as well as business purpose residential, and multifamily bridge loans throughout the US from a network of private lenders. The latter is the primary focus for this position and those loans are short term bridge, Ground up Construction and Fix-flip loans. Ellington is seeking a Servicing Oversight Manager for our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in managing loan servicing operations from on-boarding, collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure, and REO and reporting to management. Previous experience working for a fix/flip lenders or loan aggregators is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Servicer and portfolio oversight of multiple lenders and servicing entities that support both a aggregation to securitization and portfolio loan acquisition strategy.
Management focus areas include: on-boarding, collections, escrow management, claims, collateral management, foreclosure, bankruptcy, with a heavy emphasis on loss mitigation strategy and REO asset management
Maintain internal Operations manual and ensure servicer and asset manager compliance with established protocols
Perform due diligence and vetting of new servicing and asset management entities
Develop, maintain and present loan and portfolio management reports to senior management
Qualifications:
5+ years in servicing management in the residential loan space
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize accordingly
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with Senior Management regarding the progress and results of volume and timelines
Ability to work effectively under time constraints
4-year degree from accredited university preferred
