Requisition Number: 96897 Looking for positions all over the Untied States Position Overview The Installation Technician has a customer-facing role with primary duties of deploying 12-volt technology solutions in fleet vehicles. What you'll do at Insight These technicians will be deploying 12-volt technology solutions in fleet vehicles. They will also go through training for proper installation and use of our client's hardware & software. Provide your own tools EG: (wrenches, sockets, wire cutters/strippers, portable soldering iron, portable drill, etc.) Demonstrate competence in troubleshooting which includes use of tools such as a multimeter Be comfortable working with vehicle electrical systems and know the basics of working safely around 12-volt technology. Know proper methods of soldering electrical wires and crimp connections Strong acumen for network cabling and network devices (basic networking principles) Cradlepoint router or equivalent configuration knowledge a plus Experience working in cars, SUVs or RV/Campers Reliable personal transportation Work both independently and in a team Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
