Services Sales Executive (SSE) role - Virginia Public Customers
Seeking a Services Sales Executive (SSE), which is an outside Sales Specialist role specifically within Dell EMC's "Support & Deployment Services" (SDS) organization, for our team in Virginia for our Commercial customer segment (specifically Public customers in K-12, Hi-Ed, State/Local Government, Healthcare). The SSE must live in a major Virginia city and be prepared for frequent overnight travel within the state. The role is responsible for growing Dells penetration of the SDS offerings within the assigned Region and Customer list. SSEs work closely with many different Dell and EMC sales team members to identify, qualify, propose and close SDS business opportunities spanning Dell client computing products, Dell server, storage & networking products, the EMC suite of products (including classic storage solutions and new converged / hyper-converged solutions) including both SKU-based and custom SOW-based offerings. The SSE role is a strategic, high impact individual contributor role and should be viewed as the Services Sales leader within assigned geography.
Important: This role requires previous significant Services Sales experience of infrastructure services to public customers (K-12, Higher-Ed, State/Local Government) , where a quota was carried and attained repeatedly, preferably with Services Sales as the primary job function.
Significant experience selling professional services across the hardware lifecycle (procure, configure, deploy, support, refresh) is required for this individual contributor position. Hardware lifecycle solutions must have incorporated 'desktop through the data center' including server, storage, networking, and end user computing devices
Duties include working with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships.
Will work with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account
Requires the ability to influence others to achieve results
Can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal/external relationships and effectively interface at many levels with senior managers
7-10 years of Services Sales experience
Ability to influence others to achieve results
Exhibits confident and proactive behavior
Consultative, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
