You will play an essential role within the Accessibility & Services for Guests with Disabilities (SGD) team which provides subject matter expertise and consistent thought in practice across the entire Walt Disney World Resort property and beyond. You will support the day-to-day operational needs of the department and serve as a policy and subject matter expert to internal, external, and affiliated partners. As part of this, you will provide on-going virtual contact with Guests with disabilities along with partnering with Operations leadership on common issue identification and resolution. You will report to the manager of the SGD team.

Take a proactive, opportunistic, forward view of the business and drive continuous improvement of our services for Guests with disabilities.
Have a clear understanding of the market trends, Guest needs, Cast and leader needs, legal requirements, and overall business needs.
Utilize communication skills that promote understanding, learning, information exchange and problem solving.
Incorporate the lens of Leadership, Management, Technical, and Relationships (LMTR) in daily functions and decision making.
Perform 'Manager on Duty' functions, assuming responsibility for real-time and urgent handling of highly sensitive situations.
Support and assist with the completion of operational responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining Guest and Cast information and materials
Providing telephone and e-mail responses to Guest and Cast Member inquiries
Managing special projects including audits and photo/video documentation
Creating and maintaining documentation files
Researching trends and information via the internet and other sources
Supporting the portfolio of Assistive Technology services including auditing and content creation
Supporting and scheduling of Guest and Cast Member Sign Language interpretation services
Guest/Customer Services background
Passion for accessibility work and proven track record assisting Guests with disabilities
Previous Park Operations experience
Knowledge of internal Disney computer applications (e.g. Lilo, Guest Service Suite)
