Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented ServiceNow Systems Administrator/Developer, in the Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. The IOS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations.

The ServiceNow System Administrator/Developer will perform fundamental administration and configuration tasks in the ServiceNow instance including but not limited to, standard configuration, user administration, security workflow, date management, and integrations. This role will manage the ServiceNow release cycle and is dedicated to working directly with the ServiceNow on-premise application.

The client is engaged in ITIL Transformation and has implemented ServiceNow that focuses on the following ServiceNow areas: Problem, Change, Incident, Service Catalog, Discovery, SLAs, as well as Asset and Configuration Management.

This role is for a technical lead that can maintain and enhance the existing configured applications as well as assist in the implementation of the new ServiceNow features. The maintenance work will be heavy on break/fix, OAM work, via incident/problem/request tickets. ServiceNow development should be a core skill to support the break/fix and potential enhancements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support on-Premise installation of ServiceNow.

Manage ServiceNow instances in production and non-production environments.

Work with Development team for migrations.

Create post refresh strategy and refresh dev/test environment from copy of production.

Create new applications, modules, and tables.

Build and design reports, gauges and homepages.

Configure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and SLA workflows.

Support design and development of requirements for the CMDB with automated processes for gathering and populating CMDB data.

Ensure proper configuration and design workflows for asset and configuration management requirements.

Maintain business services and configuration item relationships in ServiceNow.

Create and track Service Catalog requests, and items with variables.

Create, monitor, modify, and publish Service Catalog workflows with approvals.

Maintain notification process.

Enable search capabilities and customization of the Knowledge Base.

Create an Access Control Rule.

Assisting in troubleshooting patch/release management issues.

Responsible for on-going technical assistance to development team.

Primary job duties:

Job Duty 1 ServiceNow Tool Design and Development 85%.

Job Duty 2 - Reporting 15%.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.

Qualifications



Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 5+ years of relevant experience.

At least 1-3 years experience in ServiceNow Design and Development (ServiceNow).

At least 1-3 years of experience in ServiceNow Discovery Experience is highly preferred.

At least 3-5 years or more experience in ITIL Tool Design and Development.

The Enterprise Services Team is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the customer’s enterprise business process tools to support processes to include configuration management, risk, issue and opportunity management, schedule management, architecture management, and requirements management. As part of this team, the Systems Administrator is responsible for configuring, building, installing and maintaining servers designed to process large databases with multiple relational data applications.
