SAIC has an opening for a ServiceNow Senior System Administrator to provide application support for the configuration, customization, and administration of the ServiceNow ITSM Product Suite. This role is required to be co-located in San Diego, CA with opportunity for Hybrid work.
JOB DUTIES:
Configuration, implementation and maintenance of a ServiceNow system.
Management of workflows, user roles and access, integrations, and will implement and drive automation in the system.
Will need to have a strong ability to multi-task between upcoming platform growth and maintenance projects, current open items, and planning for future customer additions to the platform.
The role will also be responsible for integrating our platform with external service providers to drive operational automation and efficiency.
Job functions may include Subject matter expertise in ServiceNow system applications and custom applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's and five (5) years or more experience; Master's and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
Must have Interim Secret clearance to start.
Must be a US citizen.
Extremely well-developed organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Proactive problem-solving approach to address challenges and improve processes.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ITIL experience.
MS PowerPoint, presentations, basic web design and graphics skills (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) to create digital designs for marketing.
Near-peer workflow tool experience (e.g., SalesForce, ZenDesk, Monday.com, SAP).
Web design experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Shopify, WIX, Stripe, GoDaddy, WordPress etc.) is a PLUS.
Certification(s) in related near-peer workflow tools is a PLUS.
