The ES&P Engagement Layer is a single, personalized ServiceNow interface intended to provide an intuitive User Experience layer that helps guide users' requests and tasks that engage Enterprise Sourcing and Procurement teams and systems (both on premise and vendor-hosted).

As a ServiceNow engineer, you will be involved in building user-focused enhancements and innovative technical solutions to improve business efficiency through automation, routing, and a user-centric intuitive interface. You'll be a key contributor in a DevOps team of analysts, testers and developers working a backlog of enhancements and defects, doing what it takes to get the job done.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with application owners and System Architect to execute system integrations; work with application owners to build understanding of systems or APIs involved in integrations

  • Understand how integrations impact system supply chain

  • Develop software that meets user story acceptance criteria

  • Innovate for user experience

  • Thoughtfully apply automation to improve user efficiency

  • Automate test cases for fellow developers' work

  • Support business partners in development and maintenance of system

  • Support production users through monitoring and working incident tickets

  • Attend daily standups to keep others informed of your progress and to collaborate with fellow team members

  • Ensure system is securely developed for reusability and resiliency

  • Ensure code and configuration support enterprise scalability

  • Review API documentation to understand how to develop integrations with given APIs or systems

  • Provide guidance and coaching to India-based developers

  • Identify areas of optimization, performance improvements and user experience benefits that exceed customer expectations

  • Servant Leader: Must be able to garner respect from the team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of software development experience

  • 3 years ServiceNow experience

  • 3 Years of development in Web 2.0 Technologies (javascript, angular, ajax, etc..)

  • 2 years Agile Scrum experience

  • ServiceNow Fundamentals, ServiceNow Application Development Certification or System Admin Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CI/CD and test-driven development

  • Selenium ( or other automated testing tool experience)

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, object oriented design, and design patterns

  • Excellent debugging, testing, and problem solving skills

The role is required to work 3 days per week standard business hours and 2 days per week 11:30am to 8:00pm. Primary Responsibilities: * Making outbound calls to assess members' current health status * Identifying gaps or barriers in treatment plans * Providing patient education to assist with self-management * Interacting with Medical Directors on challenging cases * Coordinating care for members * Making referrals to outside sources * Coordinating services as needed (home health, DME, etc.) * Educating members on disease processes * Encouraging members to make healthy lifestyle changes * Documenting and tracking findings * Utilizing Milliman criteria to determine if patients are in the correct hospital setting * Making welcome home calls to ensure that discharged member receive the necessary services and resources Required Qualifications: * Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of MN * Willing / able to obtain additional State RN licensures, if necessary * 3 years RN experience in a hospital setting, acute care, direct care experience or experience as a telephonic Case Manager for an insurance company * Basic level of experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Internet * Ability to work the day shift three days per week, the evening shift two days per week from 11:30am - 8:00pm; as well as a Saturday shift from 8:00am - 12:00pm every 5-6 weeks rotation Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * A background in managed care * Case Management experience * Certified Case Manager (CCM) * Experience / exposure with discharge planning * Experience in utilization review, concurrent review and / or risk management * Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities will be keys to success Careers with Optum.
