Role: ServiceNow Developer (OR) ITSM Service Now Developer/ Lead
Location: Raritan, NJ / Pasadena / Pleasanton, CA / Lake Forest, IL
Duration: Full Time

Job Description:
Should have working knowledge in Service Now in Development for at least 5-6 years
Experience in Catalog development in Service Portal
Hands on experience in designing and develooing various intergrations with Service Now
Knowledge of REST API and SOAP API
More than 4 years of experience in Java scripting.
Should have been involved in at least one project/application rollout and transition/support and platform upgrade
Experience working in Service Now Eureka, Geneva, Istanbul and Kingston versions
ITIL V2/V3 Certification
Experience in Service-Now as a System Administrator or Architect or Programmer/Analyst.
Experience with Web Technologies (JAVA Script, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP)
Experience with IT Service Management Process and Tool Configuration and Administration
Ability to perform configurations and customizations of Service-Now applications, e,g. Service Catalog, Incident, Facilities, Security, CMDB and Change
Development and working experience on Service now plugins and Customizations
Must have 4+ strong working experience in ServiceNow Development
Have worked on Jakarta or Istanbul version
Well versed in Implementation, customization, design and development of Key ITSM functionalities/modules like Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, Service Catalogue Management etc
Should have knowledge of Script actions, LDAP scripting, UI policies, Time sheet policies, Glide stack, Slide records etc
5+ years of professional experience in design and development in ServiceNow.
Certified ServiceNow Application Developer.
System integration experience using web services and other web based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities.
A fundamental knowledge of ITSM and ITIL.
Experience implementing best-practices and procedures.
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and collaboration in a diverse professional setting.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver them on time, exhibiting a high degree of proactive hands-on thinking and acting.
Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where every change affects the experience of our customers and users world-wide.
Strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems to effectively develop technical solutions to the requirements.
Effective communication skills to interact with all levels - from C-level executives to developers.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent

  • Masters degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent
    Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement

The QEM Service & Solution Lead will take a lead role in the delivery of current and future solutions for various Quality Processes, including NC/CAPA, Audit, Field Actions, EH&S, and Complaints. This role will be in the Technology Services Quality Research & Development System (QRDS) – Quality Event Management (QEM) team. He/she will play a crucial role in handling incoming demand and the technical delivery and implementation of multiple projects as it relates to the Quality processes supported by QEM technology platforms (EtQ & Trackwise). He/she is responsible for working with Internal and external partners to clearly identify and deliver technical solutions that meet business objectives and measurable goals. He/she will also lead other QEM developers and collaborate with other technology development teams, including keeping stakeholders informed of technical progress and risks. Responsibilities: * Partner with other service specialists and solution engineers, analyze incoming demand (small & middle size) projects and requests for change, assessing the potential technical solutions and creation of accurate and complete impact assessments, including financial estimates and resource allocations. * Be responsible for service delivery as a technical Lead and/or Scrum Master in assigned projects and work with Project Management, Engineering, and Quality teams (SQA & TQ) on necessary SDLC and Compliance related deliverables. * Work closely with implementation partners, 3rd party vendors and other technology teams to ensure right design standards and procedures are in place and followed for application development. * Establishes and maintains constructive working relationships and communication within global teams. * Manage applicable TS processes and change requests for handling delivery of projects from conception to the end of Hypercare in alignment with JNJ policies & procedures with regard to documentation and testing guidelines as part of the release management for the platform. * Assure the quality of solution(s) by working together in a global team. * Actively participate in the Continuous Process Improvement initiatives in TS by striving to look for possible efficiencies, scalability and/or cost reduction opportunities. * Resolve business and technical challenges in order to deliver on time, within budget and with high quality keeping in mind the end goal of ensuring the realization of business benefits. * Assure compliance and adherence to all regulatory and business requirements. Qualifications * A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent is required. * A minimum of 6 years of related experience required. * Experience working with global teams and system development projects is required. * Strong project management and organizational skills are required. * Ability to successfully deliver enterprise projects is required. * Knowledge of SDLC methodology, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP and CSV frameworks and models like GAMP are required. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills is required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills is required. * Proven experience tackling complex business problems and presenting recommendations to both the development team and management effectively. * Dedicated, enthusiastic, quick-learner, and a self-starter required. * Knowledge of Trackwise and EtQ Reliance technologies preferred. * Familiarity with reporting tools like Qlik and Tableau preferred. * Experience with Agile development framework preferred. * Experience with requirements & testing tools such as JIRA and HPALM preferred. * This position will be located in Raritan, NJ, and may require up to 10% domestic travel.
