ServiceNow Developer- Development Governance

ServiceNow Developer that will support the development governance of configurations, conducting code review, and remediation steps for one or more of a variety of areas including, but not limited to ITSM, ITBM, HR, CSM.

Will perform ServiceNow administration, testing, documentation, and remediation tasks for protecting the government in a multi-shared services environment. The ability to review multiple builds and provide feedback in terms of best practices is key in this role, in order to effectively and efficiently maintain the ServiceNow instance. Members of the development governance team must also possess the aptitude to search for answers when they aren't easily accessible.

Qualifications

  • Reviewing and provided approval or remediation tasks upon review of update sets on promotion from Development to Test instance. Scope currently includes ServiceNow Applications, Homepage/Dashboard/Portal and Reporting, ITSM, ITBM, and CSM, integrations with other applications and platforms; platform patching, version upgrades, troubleshooting and resolving issues

  • Working closely with Security team to obtain ATO when needed

  • Expertise with ServiceNow in support of ongoing operations and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Knowledge (certification preferred) of ITIL, Agile/Scrum and/or other related industry Best Practices.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

  • Work with customers and other stakeholders to define clear and accepted requirements and develop design documentation

  • Proven ability to configure ServiceNow using Utilize Business Rules, Client Scripts, advanced UI Policies, Workflow editor and Script Includes and UI Scripts to fulfill requirements, including knowledge of and experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5; Comply with ServiceNow best practices to maintain system compliance. (Certification Preferred)
