ServiceNow Consultant
Duties:
Implement and enhance ServiceNow platform and modules per business requirements.
Complete development, configuration and workflow administration to support business processes in the platform.
Provide day to day operational support and maintenance including planned maintenance outages.
Collect, consolidate and analyze service metrics to facilitate decision making related to service improvements.
Conduct unit testing and install new modules, releases and version upgrades.
Actively manages the life-cycle of the platform.
Monitor and fine tune application to achieve optimum performance levels.
Perform assessments and listen to internal customers to understand and anticipate their business needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise and strategy

Skills:
Requirements
Technical expert in ServiceNow with a minimum 5 years working experience as Administrator and Developer.
Experience building two-way integrations with ServiceNow using custom REST APIs.
Experience building change and release management workflows
Experience implementing CMDB.
Understanding of ITIL v3 and its components.
Expertise in ServiceNow scripting including JavaScript and Angular JS
Expertise in Web technologies (Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, etc)
Understanding of Enterprise IT Architecture.
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills.
Customer engagement with strong personal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships between business stakeholders and IT service owners.
End user support including troubleshooting, root cause analysis and permanent resolution of system issues.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively amongst multiple priorities.
Ability to communicate to all levels of end users, IS and Management staff.
Ability to work on a cross-functional team to design and implement scalable and sustainable systems.
Preferred Experience
ITIL certification.
ServiceNow Administration / Application Developer certification.
Experience with CMBD, Discovery and Asset Management.
Experience with SailPoint integration with ServiceNow
Experience with CVENT integration with ServiceNow
SQL experience for Data Mining and Data Analysis.
Experience working in a regulated environment
Experience in a global company dealing with multiple locations
Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or related filed; advanced degree a plus.

Identifies issues with functionality, provides production support and escalates issues as appropriate. Consults with business to define specifications and create applications. Resolves moderately complex issues related to application functionality Leads integrated, cross functional team to implement web-based business solutions. Maintaining and helping to further develop our integrated platforms with ServiceNow. Managing all aspects of internal deployment projects and work closely with the internal teams on status, issues, and communications. Creating and maintaining technical documentation and user-guides. Managing products gaps from business specifications to product enhancements and/or business process change. Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow. Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow. The position will coordinate and provide solutions for ServiceNow development and maintenance efforts. Additionally, the individual will be expected to maintain a high degree of communication with the ServiceNow team and to document requirements and solutions. Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices. This is a Full Time Salaried position, located at the Scripps Corporate Offices. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: * Senior-level software professional with the ability to develop and maintain a clear vision for the entire ServiceNow product base, including maintaining a consistent model for ServiceNow use across the Enterprise and assurance that all solutions for ServiceNow functionality meet a standard of consistency. * Good critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Expert knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, .net, and SharePoint development Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: * Bachelor's degree. * 4 years of ServiceNow development experience. * MCSE preferred. * Experience writing processors, integrations, business rules, etc. in ServiceNow. * Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, Java, JavaScript, JSON, Web Services, etc.) * Previous experience developing and delivering customized portal web pages in ServiceNow using Bootstrap and AngularJS JavaScript frameworks. * Hands-on experience in the following ServiceNow applications: Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, Workflow, Survey/Assessment, Knowledge, and CMDB. * Experience with ServiceNow's REST APIs and with the development of custom ServiceNow applications and APIs. * Experience performing major version upgrades to ServiceNow.
