OwlPoint is seeking a ServiceNow Architects to assist our team with upcoming projects. The ideal candidates should be experienced team members, thought leaders, and evangelists, who have been part of several previous ServiceNow implementations or upgrades and is up to date on the latest ServiceNow methods.

The ServiceNow Architect's responsibilities include assessing, designing, developing, guiding the on-going expansion and maturity of the client's ServiceNow platform, supporting processes, capabilities, and business outcomes. The ServiceNow Architect must also be able to articulate solutions based on the business value that they create. Primary responsibilities include creation and execution of the ServiceNow solution and the transference of knowledge to internal client resources for ServiceNow.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
Provide advice and guidance of recommended methods and assist in determining recommended approaches
Awareness of ServiceNow best practice approaches and functionality
Establish the design approach for development or configuration of functionality meeting business requirements
Advanced development and configuration methods including scripting
Ability to provide direction to developers and administrators
Ability to facilitate design sessions with all stakeholders
Provide direction and education of ServiceNow functionality
Ability to perform integrations across platforms and services
The ability to implement at least 95% of the ServiceNow modules
ServiceNow architect and or developer certification

The following is REQUIRED:
Previous experience implementing/upgrading ServiceNow in more than one Companys environment
Experience addressing issues determined during exception reporting
Knowledge of core ServiceNow functionality
Must be very detail oriented
Able to manage work using ServiceNow PPM/SDLC, Agile development
5+ years as a ServiceNow Architect experience in a corporate environment
4+ years ServiceNow working experience including administration, configuration, development, design and implementation
Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
Must be able to see projects through from start to finish with minimal guidance
Must possess project delivery skills and experience working directly with stakeholders, customers, and clients

Our organization is comprised of a team's supporting PMO, Security, Quality, Intake, Service Delivery, Engineering, and Service Operations. With these teams access resources from our functional teams supporting Network, Security, Firewall, z/OS and z/VM operations, Unix Operations, Change Management, Monitoring, Capacity Management, x86 Operations, and Storage Operations. Part of everyone's responsibility is to help drive the new consumption-based services oriented model. Now to you - your mission, if you choose to accept it as a ServiceNow Architect, will require you to coordinate closely with senior leadership to help establish clear objectives and effectively communicate program needs, manage time / scope / ITSM and ITOM management, and establish effective, bi-directional, collaborative communication within our Program Team. This role will require you to utilize your depth of experience to act as an idea and change leader regarding ServiceNow and furthermore, you will assure delivery of new features and capabilities of the ServiceNow suite of enterprise applications. Ultimately, these activities will be extended in communication to the customer. You will interact daily with technical resource which are fulfilling technical requirements for the customer. Your goal will be to work with all stakeholders to help Leidos ensure delivery of high-quality, robust and scalable solutions with minimal business impact. The current work environment is on-site at Leidos in Winsor Mill / Woodlawn, Maryland with potential for on-site work at CMS (in the same location). Telecommute opportunities are currently being evaluated and may become available based upon teams supported, work hours, and work performance. Technical Responsibilities: Create, document, and evangelize ServiceNow configuration, design, development, and integration; communicate best practices/frameworks Build the long-term strategic roadmap for ServiceNow solutions Communicate with the internal teams in non-technical terms, understand their requirements and guide developers with suitable solutions Drive and provide architecture review and assessment of enhancements within the ServiceNow platform Develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform to utilize automation and integration capabilities of ServiceNow, focused on leveraging business services with out of the box capabilities Lead development and execution of regulated and non-regulated software solutions, including server software, mobile software, web applications, systems communications, and integrations Provide technical coaching and oversight to junior developers Work with cross-functional team in an agile and fast-paced development environment to define user stories and tasks Document architectural solutions in a clear and accurate manner Architect new ways of solving problems using the ServiceNow platform Support and enhance reporting solutions within ServiceNow and through external reporting solutions to support business goals Support alignment of IS strategy and planning with the company's business goals and objectives Review and recommend where ServiceNow platform fits into the enterprise architecture roadmap Lead and direct software development and testing Management Responsibilities: Manage team assignments and tasking to ensure complete coverage of all assigned tasks. Ensure operational environment remains operational. Ensure tasks are completed as planned. Complete service and change requests on schedule. Manage and optimize costs with close focus on under runs and over runs. You will be responsible for financial management of your team, which includes hardware, software, and staffing. Manage all personnel needs and interact with HR when required. Perform annual personnel write-ups and reviews. Ensure personnel performance. Review and approve weekly personnel approvals. Ensure that any technical proposal needs are supported. BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.
