Job Summary

Provides support to Express and has an opportunity to significantly impact organizational growth and effectiveness by delivering and enabling best-in-class technology solutions through the ServiceNow platform. Engaged in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which includes gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting, and implementing software, and maintaining current release levels.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Basic duties are monitoring and maintaining the configuration management database (CMDB), and performing discovery of all hardware systems.

  • Create, maintain, and enhance the ITIL processes for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Request, and Knowledge Management.

  • Monitors new releases, patches, and functionality published by ServiceNow to evaluate and mitigate platform impact on current and future business workflow.

  • Maintain all instances to a minimum of N-1 release level.

  • Create, maintain, and enhance future integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.

  • Create and configure UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, etc.

  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.

  • Act as the subject matter expert and escalation point of contact for all users requiring support.

  • Create, maintain, and enhance team dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports.

  • Administrate the workflows on the software, implement new systems or add-ons, help with problem resolution, and test systems for efficiency.

  • Other duties include designing, developing, building, and customizing requests/forms/reports or providing support to end-users of the software.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems and integration with ServiceNow

  • Supporting integration with third-party products

  • Working knowledge of relational database concepts

  • Agile Application Development Methodology

  • Experience writing and debugging JavaScript and PowerShell

  • Experience writing and debugging Angular, HTML, and CSS

  • Experience with REST API development

  • Must be self-sufficient and have good English oral and written communication skills

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related computer field from a recognized 4-year university or relative equivalent experience required

  • 4+ years relative experience preferred

  • ServiceNow admin certifications preferred or expected to obtain
