U.S. Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Service Virtualization Architect with virtual service modeling experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plans and conducts virtualized services and tests, monitors systems, and takes corrective action.

  • Assures integrity of virtualized assets; develops policies and procedures related to development and support of new and ongoing virtualized services.

  • Determines transition strategy from current to new architecture, including integration from current state of mocks and stubs to dynamic virtualized services.

  • Provides technical consulting to application development teams during application design and development for highly complex or critical projects.

  • Responsible to work with DevOps and Test Automation architects to integrate Service Virtualization in CI-CD-CT pipeline.

  • Responsible to drive innovation across the Service Virtualization team.

Candidates should possess/have experience in:

  • Would have played a Lead role in Service Virtualization with proven leadership quality.

  • Strong exposure in creating Service Virtualization roadmap and project plan documenting architecture design, framework development activities, milestones and dependencies.

  • Strong Experience in creating Service Virtualization playbooks and providing inputs for test automation playbooks to enable federated use of Service Virtualization.

  • Hands on experience on SV technical design capturing implementation specific details of CA Service virtualization (DevTest / LISA) or attributes to managed when shifting SV tools.

  • Strong experience in adoption of new Service Virtualization framework across Client landscape with webinars.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least 6 years experience with design, development and support of database management systems.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Working experience in:

Tools

  • CA Service Virtualization (DevTest / LISA)
  • Mountebank (nice to have)
  • Wiremock or Mockito (nice to have)
  • Jenkins

Simulation experience

  • Soap

  • Rest

  • Message Queues

  • CICS

  • Integrating CA SV with CA ARD / CA TDM

Coding experience:

  • Java

  • JavaScript (nice to have)

Preferred Experience

Tools

  • Traffic Parrot

  • Selenium based Test Automation Frameworks (E.g. Katalon Studio)

  • CA ARD

  • CA Automic RA

Simulation Experience

  • IOT protocols like Protobuf

Analyzes organizational needs and goals for the purpose of incorporating into the design, development, and implementation of applications. Determines appropriate strategies regarding long-term application direction. Ensures compliance with Enterprise Architecture, Technology Standards, and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning. May lead, provide direction, and coordinate activities of application architects. Maintains constant interaction with business line(s). Leads evaluation of vendor products to determine conformance with bank technical standards and appropriate fit with business needs. * Part of a team that supports the Home Mortgage business line.
