Service Technician/Delivery Driver - American Welding & Gas (7018)

American Welding and Gas, has an immediate opening for a Service Technician/Delivery Driver at our gas cylinder production/distribution facility in Appleton, WI!

Service Technician Duties:

• For this position, a mechanical background with some electrical wiring background would be great.

• Needs to work at heights of 20 to 30 feet.

• Commercial painting and pressure washing.

• Capable of performing duties alone at times.

• Current driver's license will be required to drive company equipment to the job site.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Hearing, sight, and smell.

• Ability to work according to the demands of the job, which include being on call, physical exertion, stress, working in all types of weather, dexterity.

• Must occasionally lift or move up to 80 pounds. Must occasionally lift 50-75 lbs. from floor to waist.

• Frequently required to stand and to walk while pushing / pulling up to 75 lbs.

• Occasionally required to squat, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

• Occasionally shoveling snow and digging trenches.

Service Technician Qualifications:

• Safety orientated.

• Mechanically inclined.

• Drivers Licenses

• Excellent communicator who expresses consistency in words and actions, communicates directly and honestly.

• GED/Diploma

• Industrial painting

• Class B CDL, tanker, Air Brakes and Hazmat endorsement
