The Successful Candidate Will . . .

  • Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route

  • Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer

  • Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment

  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program

  • Serve as a problem solver for your customer by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs

  • Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand held device provided for speed and accuracy

We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

VIEW JOBS 5/6/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-04T00:00 JOB SUMMARY As a Maintenance & AR Technician III, you will lead service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment within a 24x7 warehouse/logistics environment providing operations and maintenance services to support a fleet of robots. You will support the Operations Maintenance team in by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train, and mentor service technicians and contract technicians. RESPONSIBILITIES Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc. Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used Maintain a positive working relationships across all of the Amazon Operations facility Develop training plans for service technicians Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls 5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics 5+ years of experience conducting preventative & procedure based maintenance 5 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics 5 + years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs 3+ years of work order management Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly Preferred Qualifications Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field 4+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field Previous leadership experience Previous vendor management experience Experience with robotic or electromechanical maintenance Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructure Basic ability to use Linux command line interface. Low voltage signal tracing and troubleshooting of logical devices and signal feedback loops. Physical Demands Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 80 pounds Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces Operation Support & Customer Service Promoting and conduct good housekeeping practices Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric Flexibility with work hours and days.
