JOB DESCRIPTION

Safely operate casing/tubing tongs, power units, testing equipment, and other specified oilfield equipment used in tubular makeup and testing services in both and onshore and offshore environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learn the operation and routine maintenance requirements of all tubular services equipment.

Learn the maintenance procedures as they relate to tubular service equipment.

Prepare accurate tickets, job reports, time sheets, and other administrative forms.

Independently operate and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repair of tubular service equipment.

Assist in job action planning with customer on location.

Verify all necessary equipment and supplies are on location and in proper working condition.

Assist in pre-job safety meeting.

Available on a 24 hour basis to respond to customer needs.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.

Valid driver's License

Must be available on a 24-hour basis to respond to customer needs.
0-3 years' experience in tubular running services and equipment.

Good communication skills.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities A Day in the Life of a Service Technician (Entry Level): As a Lincoln Military Housing Service Technician (Entry Level), you will perform routine maintenance and repairs in a multi-family residential community. You will operate building systems and related equipment and tools to complete tasks to Lincoln Military Housing's quality standards and resident's satisfaction. You will be required to effectively communicate, perform quality work in a safe manner and deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with Lincoln Military Housing's quality customer satisfaction standards. Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repairs which may include electrical, plumbing, painting, lighting, HVAC, etc. * Apply basic understanding of two or more of the following trades to ensure quality maintained homes and community: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, general appliance repair, etc. * Perform routine service repairs, and preventative maintenance of all aspects in homes, common areas, grounds and community. * Complete resident-requested repairs and service within the required time frame (24 hours). * Completes all assigned maintenance work on vacant homes within LMH standards. * Perform On-call service requests and emergency calls for qualified assignments. * May participate in routine inspections (including QC, move in, preventative maintenance, machinery, appliance, etc.). * Perform general maintenance and cleaning of common areas, maintenance shop, etc. * Maintain and updates all assigned service requests using Yardi Mobile until assignment is completed and closed. * Perform any additional routine maintenance on property as requested, as needed or directed. * Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on homes, community and/or common areas to supervisor. * Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools, equipment and machinery. * Comply with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment and LMH Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. * Understand and follow safe work practices for all trades, including but not limited to: Lockout Tag-out, Confined Space Entry, use of hazardous chemicals, use of Personal Protective Equipment, Ladder Safety, and working from Elevated Surfaces. Qualifications What You Need For Success: * Entry level position, relevant maintenance experience preferred or an equivalent combination general mechanical aptitude and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above. * Beginning level understanding or experience in two or more basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair. * Understanding and following oral and written directions. * Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, managers, vendors or residents sufficient to exchange or convey information as well as give and receive work direction. * Working knowledge of appliances. * Competent skills regarding the operation of small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair. * Basic computer skills (able to operate mobile device, PC). * Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, vendors and co-workers. * Ability to operate motor vehicle (valid license required) * Must be available regular on-call work assignments/ emergency calls and work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required. * Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities. * Ability to independently lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 65 lbs. * May require use of personal or company vehicle, or electrical cart.
