Title: Service Technician
Location: Dulles, VA
Reports To: Senior Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
Diagnose malfunctions of computer hardware for the purpose of determining the appropriate parts needed for the repair of the computer
Orders necessary parts via multiple vendor websites, adhering to the policies and procedures specific to each one.
Knowledge of various tools and techniques involved in computer repair
Ability to disassemble and assemble a wide variety of computers for repair purposes
Maintain accurate repair records using designated applications provided
Participates in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse
Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously
Ability to work with limited supervision on a daily basis
Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed
Ability to perform data collection and recording
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A+ certification or technical certification preferred
Associate degree or minimum of two years computer repair experience required
Knowledge of basic computer imaging processes utilizing Ghost
A good knowledge of different computer components in order to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of computers a must

Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work with customers, teams, and management at all levels in a cross-functional environment
Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present and discuss departmental information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding no matter the level of audience
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes
Critical thinking and problem solving
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Experience with UPS program and shipping policies
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Sitting for extended periods of time in a climate-controlled office environment.
Must have a positive attitude and be very detail oriented
Extended periods of time utilizing hand tools needed to repair computers.
Able to move quickly to meet warehouse demands
Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. repetitively
Must clear criminal background check and drug test
Moderate travel may be required
