Under general supervision of the Service Manager
Provide technical support in the field to aid customers and resolve technical problems incurred in the installation or operation of company products
Consult with customer regarding pre-installation and post installation problems
Conduct and coordinate start-up and checkout activities on newly installed systems
May review customer equipment and requirements
Work closely with design engineering evaluating product performance and conducting field trials
Provides support in the conduct and performance of equipment/system acceptance testing following installation
May conduct technical seminars and training for customer or company personnel, as well as informal on the job training for other service department members and customers
May provide working leadership to lower level service department employees
Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
3 years' work related field experience and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology OR 5 years work related field experience with no degree.
