Responsibilities

The Keysight Primary Standards Lab is looking for technically qualified individuals who can perform highly accurate and precise calibrations including measurement uncertainty creation and analysis, and guardbanding techniques.

Specifically, you'll be part of a team calibrating and maintaining 3458A Digital Multimeters, multifunction calibrators, thermal voltage converters, four terminal pair standards, resistors, shunts and similar reference and primary level standards.

The position will challenge you to:

• Perform complex and highly precise AC/DC calibrations utilizing automated systems and manual techniques.

• Independently solves complex technical problems, and provides advice on set-up, applications and issues related to compatibility, site-prep, ESD etc.

• Take a lead role in improving current processes by analyzing data from reports, verbal inputs and querying databases.

• Determine root cause and initiate corrective actions that enhance the process.

• Lead, and interface effectively with both external and internal customers including SSU and Mfg. division engineering and support groups.

• Research and recommend new test equipment for improved testing proficiency and cost effectiveness.

California pay range: USD $52,190.00 - USD $86,980.00 Year

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
