The Service Support Lead is responsible for providing leadership to a core team of associates responsible for the receiving and replenishment of merchandise ensuring the sales floor is well presented and product is available for sale to the customer. The Service Support Lead is also accountable for accuracy of receiving documents, and provides supervision over merchandise deluxing and pricing operations. The Service Support Lead with assist with supervising a team of hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present. The Service Support Lead is also a role model within the unit for abiding by and holding others accountable for The Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices. Leads by example with the highest level of integrity. The Service Support Lead must have day, evening and weekend availability to work.

Job Duties:

  • Leads the Receiving and in-store operations to ensure achievement of business goals in expenses, payroll, inventory shrinkage and Associate morale

  • Leads receiving processes in training; assists in action plans to improve performance

  • Prices products per Outlet Pricing Guidelines and leads efforts in unit's achievement of improved margins and cost recovery

  • Adheres to operational processes (i.e., receiving, replenishment, shipping and Acct. 112) and ensures consistency and performance standards are met

  • Develops partnership with Sears Logistics Services' (SLS) Distribution Centers and Product Repair Services

  • Ensures that the unit adheres to safety policies and procedures

  • Accepts overall 4 wall accountability

  • Serves as a Key carrier

  • Interacts with customers and associates to address their concerns

  • Rings normal Outlet transactions at Point of Sale (POS)

  • Maintains facilities and housekeeping

  • Understands and communicates activities/trends in unit and unique local issues to management

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs., and use hand wheeled carts to move Appliances

Completes activities within the entire store as assigned. coordinates the completion all backroom and merchandise logistics with store leadership, unloading delivery DC trucks, moves merchandise to appropriate staging locations, and maintains stockrooms in a neat, orderly, and safe manner and executes all new receipt functions. Stock locates any overstock in stockroom. Job Requirements JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensures consistency and effectiveness of service for enhancing the Member experience by greeting any Members in a professional and engaging manner demonstrating a Member First experience * Provides superior Member experience in the footwear by ensuring seamless merchandise replenishment, merchandise presentation, signing and all ad sets • Participates in unloading DC trucks, moves merchandise to appropriate staging locations, and maintains stockrooms in a neat, orderly, and safe manner and executes all new receipt functions * Regularly checks the floor and also ensures that Members are served promptly at Merchandise Pick Up to meet the 5 minute Guarantee * Helps with all DV scans and FS scans and completes follow-up actions * Helps other associates, together with store leadership, to understand the importance and execution of Out of Stock Pull List and stocks/replenishes the merchandise on the floor * Locates and pulls merchandise and fixtures to support sales floor resets and performs all aspects of the reset. Serves as a resource for effective execution in these areas * Maintains up to date knowledge and shares with other associates of applicable National Presentation Standards * Versed in the benefits of Shop Your Way, the elements of a WOW experience, and is able to sell the program to Members. Assists other associates to understand the full benefit and workings of the program * Adheres to merchandise/inventory protection standards, all shrink procedures and regularly mentors the shrink process * Ensures, in collaboration with store leadership, that all Store Support Associates use proper merchandise handling and safety equipment and adhere to safety requirements.
