Job Description: The Regional Leader will work closely with Regional and complex teams in addition to internal departments to provide support through various systems to ensure disbursement activity has been appropriately approved. Act as primary point of contact between assigned Region(s) and the SRU. Work with Service Review Associates to resolve issues encountered during disbursement request processing and reporting reviews. A SRU Regional Leader will report directly to a SRU Manager and supervise a team of SRU Associates. Responsibilities Include:

  • Primary responsibility for the disbursements review functions with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance with firm policies and procedures

  • Participate in recruitment and hiring of permanent, temporary and part-time employees

  • Conduct Performance Review and identify developmental needs for staff

  • Provide world class customer service to both field facing and internal counterparts in all interactions

  • Process and follow up on phone or email inquiries from assigned Region(s) to ensure completion in a timely manner

  • Work between disbursements and reporting groups as needed

  • Ability to handle a high volume of requests in a fast paced environment across multiple time zones

  • Apply firm verification policies for all clients to avoid identity theft and fraudulent activity

  • Keep current on SEC/FINRA, Compliance and firm guidelines and policy and procedure changes and apply to processing and all interaction to ensure risk mitigation

  • Participate in project and or remediation efforts as needed including pilot programs

  • Some travel required

  • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    - 2-5 years industry experience
  • Evidence of strong leadership capabilities or previous supervisory experience

  • College preferred or equivalent experience

  • Strong knowledge of Morgan Stanley systems and Microsoft Suite

  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills

  • Strong clerical, administrative and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Focused intent on Customer Service Satisfaction

  • Ability to research and resolve service inquiries

  • Know when to escalate an item to mitigate risk

  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Series 7 required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Assesses inpatient services for members to ensure optimum outcomes, cost effectiveness and compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. * Analyzes clinical service requests from members or providers against evidence based clinical guidelines. * Identifies appropriate benefits, eligibility and expected length of stay for requested treatments and/or procedures. * Conducts inpatient reviews to determine financial responsibility for Molina Healthcare and its members. May also perform prior authorization reviews and/or related duties as needed. * Processes requests within required timelines. * Refers appropriate cases to Medical Directors and presents them in a consistent and efficient manner. * Requests additional information from members or providers in consistent and efficient manner. * Makes appropriate referrals to other clinical programs. * Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote Molina Care Model. * Adheres to UM policies and procedures. * Occasional travel to other Molina offices or hospitals as requested, may be required. This can vary based on the individual State Plan.Job Qualifications Required Education Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing. Required Experience 3 years hospital acute care/medical experience. Required License, Certification, Association Active, unrestricted State Registered Nursing (RN) license in good standing. Must have valid driver's license with good driving record and be able to drive within applicable state or locality with reliable transportation. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred Experience Recent hospital experience in ICU, Medical, or ER unit. Preferred License, Certification, Association Utilization Management Certification (CPHM).
