SPA Resource Requirements

Qualified personnel staffed as Service Parts Analysts are highly recommended to meet the following requirements:

Required:

• High School Diploma

• 3-5 years' automotive technical experience

• Automotive service parts or technician

• Development of client service products

• Computer proficient-PC literacy with windows, Google, Microsoft

• Problem solving skills

• Background check required to confirm no criminal records as defined by US standards

Preferred:

• 1-3 years minimum service part experience

• Familiarity with:

• Bill of Materials

• Common service part practices and methodologies

• Automotive Technical Training or Technical Associates Degree

• Experience working in a team environment

• Good analytical, organization and communication skills

SPA RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Part Analysts(SPA) are responsible for creating, maintaining and releasing of service parts to support vehicle launch timing. SPA's are also responsible for assisting in resolution of issues as they relate to service parts throughout the MOPAR organization. SPAs are, on average, responsible for setting up 8,000 - 10,000 service parts and managing 2,000 - 2,500 changes per year based on Change Notices (CN).

Utilize necessary service and production systems to ensure all parts are accounted for and setup correctly:

• TeamCenter
• SBOM
• EBOM
• WebCN
• EMEA PDF
• REQUIRED FIAT SYSTEMS(CSPS, ePER, etc)
• INTERNAL QLIK DASHBOARDS
• Etc

Ensure vehicle launch timing:

The Vehicle Programs table identifies the required vehicle program support as defined in the stack chart. SPA completion timing precedes launch timing by 20 weeks. Timing of target due dates are maintained internally and will be made readily available for use. Each proceeding year will be provided by client along with access to the maintained timing charts for on-demand use.

The level of vehicle change is defined by the following (per engineering definition level):

• New (New vehicle)

• New exterior, interior, architecture, which creates a new standard vehicle family

• P/V (Platform Variant) - Significant variation of existing vehicle

• New exterior, interior, architecture is strongly modified from an existing family

• MCA (Mid-cycle action)

• Modification of existing vehicle family, front/rear end styling changes, minor interior styling (carryover structure), no architectural changes

• C/O (Carry over) - Carryover vehicle with changes by exception.

• Minor modifications (color), quality improvements, cost reductions
