Overview

The Service Operations Trainer is responsible for implementing and evaluating curricula, training, and programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of our Commercial Lines Service Operations employees. You will be delivering critical training for new hires to learn the technical insurance, business acumen, key processes, soft skills, and systems they will need to successfully complete the core responsibilities of their roles. This role will allow you to see the development from understanding what is included with their role through coaching after training on their execution on critical client-facing tasks. The Service Operations Trainer is a critical role in taking new hires through a comprehensive program set up to allow them to excel and understand the critical impact of their actions and tasks on organizational success!

What You'll Do

  • Support the implementation of programs tailored to meet organizational objectives and fill identified skills gaps.

  • Facilitate training, processes, systems usage, and other tools to support both agency and larger organizational needs using adult learning principles to best impact the transfer of knowledge.

  • Work closely with Service Operation Leadership to understand needs, impact, and feedback on all current training and prioritize future training needs.

  • Create and maintain a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion as a key aspect of all development activities, tools, and processes.

  • Serve as faculty for various training programs and classes focused on Service Operations.

  • Evaluate programs and courses to assess effectiveness.

  • Work with Corporate L&D leadership to understand design and delivery of critical training to drive performance.

  • Effectively incorporate feedback to improve employee application post-training.

  • Expected travel up to 25%.

What You'll Need

  • Degree in related field and 3+ years of training experience.

  • Ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.

  • Extensive knowledge of insurance agency functions and roles to support key shareholders with a minimum of 3 years working in a Service or Operations role.

  • Able to shift focus, adapt, and remain resilient when assistance is needed.

  • Exceptional facilitation skills with ability to engage groups of all sizes and demographics.

  • Strong knowledge of the best practices for LMS.

  • Phenomenal interpersonal and relationship-building skills at all levels within a professional environment.
