Service Operations Manager

Job Description: The Service Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Service Department, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure the department's growth and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service. Kenco Hydraulics, a Singer Industrial company, is located in Hatfield, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Service Department, including actively scheduling and dispatching work orders to ensure timely completion.

• Monitor and maintain acceptable levels of applied time, optimizing efficiency and productivity.

• Serve as the primary contact for all service-related phone calls, providing technical support.

• Estimate and quote in-house repairs, purchase necessary repair parts or components, and schedule assembly time upon approval.

• Assist with overflow service work when necessary, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

• Bill out shop and field service projects accurately and promptly.

• Maintain quality control on repairs and professional appearance of all shop service work

• Contribute to the training and development of service personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Foster a teamwork attitude among service personnel and all other company employees, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.

• Maintain an acceptable shop appearance, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Fluid Power Degree or Equivalent Experience; Strong Mechanical Background; Hydraulic Background Preferred; Hydraulic Cylinder, Pump, Motor, Valve Repair

• Highly Motivated Self-starter with a passion for excellence

• Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills (verbal & written)

• Proficient with Planning and Organization

• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
