Cognizant is looking for Service Operations Manager

  • Responsible for the data integration across Immunology & Specialty systems which includes in-house and vendor applications.

  • Responsible for handling production ServiceNow tickets which includes functional issue, business request/question, data issue, data manipulation, user setup and other ad-hoc requests.

  • Responsible for generating the daily and weekly reports related to the user enrollments and service requests so as to share with IT Business teams.

  • Perform constant monitoring of production data volume, issues, downtimes and business user requests.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive resolution SLA with all the support teams.

  • Create and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis purposes.

  • Perform Web Services, Functional/Behavioral data analysis using SOAPUI, Postman & MySQL.

  • Provide constant data and application business support for in-house and vendor teams.

  • Coordinate and support IT business owners, business users, in-house IT teams and third party vendors for production ServiceNow ticket resolution and data integration analysis.

  • Possess good understanding of Life Sciences industry, patient drug journey, HIPAA concepts, handling PHI and PII data and data security.

  • Possess good understanding of ServiceNow ticket handling and meeting resolution SLA's defined.

  • Apply user learned feedback in operations support for providing thoughtful improvements.

  • Improve quality of support by optimizing the strategy applied.

  • Provide Sanity Testing support during production release to ensure successful results.

  • Accountable for work estimates of End-End data Integration support activities.

  • Actively participate in daily and weekly meetings, including: standup, application walkthrough and defects review including the third party vendors.

  • Salesforce knowledge is an added advantage.

The role is primarily responsible for managing the operational and financial aspects of the DMPK-BA functional area. This position will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure that the function operates within the current Plan/Update budget. The role may also support initiatives across Development Sciences. The candidate needs to independently and proactively raise issues and opportunities as appropriate. This position will also lead identification, planning and implementation of activities and projects to achieve functional strategies, goals, and objectives Key responsibilities include: * Lead operational activities to enhance functional capabilities, efficiencies and culture. Have significant input into strategic decision-making that affects the business. These activities may include facilitating team meetings, optimizing and implementing demand/capacity models, acting as a point-of-contact for contracts within the team, and working closely with the function head to support departmental goals. * May be responsible for overseeing operations activities/ projects managed by others within the function(s). * Serve as local finance resource. * Collaborate with function leadership team to forecast, construct and manage budget. Forecast and manage implications of alternative development scenarios. * Provide leadership and develop strategic recommendations to ensure all functional areas operate within the current Plan/Update budget. * May support other areas in Development Sciences. * Collaborate with Business Operations leadership team to support building the group and establish / improve processes of the group to advance the Development Sciences Strategic Objectives * MS/BS degree required in a scientific or business-related field with 8-10 years in scientific/business field in pharmaceutical industry. Or Ph.D. with 5-6 years of relevant experience. * Advanced knowledge of standard business processes and systems including project management practices, portfolio review, finance, and budgeting is preferred. * Demonstrated leadership skills and track record for successful projects. * Operations experience with large budget and matrixed environment is preferred. * Must have strong interpersonal skills to achieve goals through interface with internal researchers and senior management. Be articulate and intellectually persuasive. * Must be able to summarize and communicate findings and plans in a timely and effective manner. * Strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment with competing projects and deadlines. Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects. * Experienced in situations of conflict resolution and problem solving. Proactive and positive team player.
