Service Now HR Case Management Analyst

IMMEDIATE NEW job opening for a Sr. Analyst to join our team and work on-site at our client's global HQ's in Dallas, Texas.

This role will be responsible for supporting Service Now from the HR side. Specifically, this role will focus on Service Now Case Management. This role will be responsible for reviewing all cases and assigning them.

The case load is about 300-400/day. This role will also be responsible for reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and while using Service Now will come up with other ways to streamline the tool and will partner with his or her technical counterpart to help these custom changes come to fruition.


o Act as a Traffic Manager

o Centralized resource to triage cases and assign accordingly

o Monitor workload for each HRX resource and re-assign as needed

o Monitor response time and SLA

o Identify case trends and escalate as needed

Required Skills:

o Extremely thoughtful and analytical

o Experience with Service Now (specifically HR Case Management module)

o Familiar with the Knowledge Management Component

o 2+ years' experience as an HR Analyst preferred

o Bachelor's Degree - preferred

Providing oversight and guidance to 120 local offices across the state, VDSS delivers a wide variety of services and benefits to over 1.6 million Virginians each year. VDSS goal is to promote the well-being of our citizens through the delivery of essential services and benefits to ensure families are strengthened and individuals achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency. The Division of Benefit Programs (DBP) develops and manages an array of public assistance programs for families and individuals in the Commonwealth, in an effort to assist their movement from dependency on public assistance programs to self-sufficiency. The Division supervises local administration of these programs. Such programs include Energy Assistance, Medical Assistance Programs which includes Medicaid and Family Access to Medical Insurance Security Plan (FAMIS), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and its work component, the Virginia Initiative for Employment not Welfare (VIEW) for children and families in the Commonwealth and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). JOB DESCRIPTION: The Quality Assurance Analyst position will promote accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of Social Services programs to maximize the resources available to families and individuals in need of assistance and to strengthen families. The reviewer conducts audits of Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) cases in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid and other programs as assigned, to evaluate LDSS performance as measured by accuracy of expenditures, timeliness of benefit delivery and compliance with federal mandates and state guidelines. To protect the integrity and competence of Virginia's program administration, the reviewer identifies correct cases as well as policy and procedural misunderstanding and misapplication by LDSS, describes performance trends and refers questions of program abuse for fraud investigation. Review results provide a systematic method of measuring the validity of Virginia's performance in state and federally funded programs, a continuous flow of information on which to base corrective action initiatives at all levels of administration. Conducts SNAP and Medicaid reviews assigned; gather and analyze information from LDSS case records, third-parties inquiries and field investigatory activities, to include personal interviews with customers (face-to-face), while conveying means and methods of strengthening families during every client contact. Based on analysis of this data, reach accurate, definitive conclusions regarding policy compliance and benefit accuracy and convey these in a clearly written narrative findings report to LDSS, state policy unit and federal partners. Prepare and submit clear, concise, and comprehensive review findings on required forms and automated systems within prescribed timeframes. Complete corrections to review reports by the assigned due date. An extraordinary level of accuracy is required for individuals in this position. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Experience working with eligibility requirements for the SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, and Energy Assistance programs. Considerable investigatory and analytical skills. Proficient in the use of document management principles, automated systems, MS Office, Google Applications, etc. Experience working with VaCMS. Demonstrated ability to independently manage a deadline-oriented workload with overlapping assignments and a high degree of accuracy; interpret and apply complex state and federal regulations and procedures; and effectively communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. High level of interpersonal skills to elicit cooperation of diverse customer populations and interested third parties. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high-level professional staff from both the private and public sectors. Possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to travel to local departments of social services. Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social sciences or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for college degree. Considerable experience working with eligibility requirements for the SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, and Energy Assistance programs; document management principles, automated systems, MS Office, Google Applications, etc. and with VaCMS. Special Requirements SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate(s) must successfully pass a fingerprint-based criminal history background check. A record of criminal history does not automatically bar an applicant from consideration. Employment verification to include current/previous supervisor reference checks will be conducted. VDSS employees whose positions are in Band 5 and above perform in emergency roles if needed during state and federal disaster declarations.
