Position Summary:
Manages the preventative maintenance business for Dürr Systems Inc. Clean Technology Systems. Leading the team by directly managing both field technicians and supporting office staff, providing training, coaching, performance evaluations, and handling disciplinary matters as needed.
This position takes a leading role promoting Dürr Systems Inc. preventative maintenance business directly to our customers. Proactive selling of maintenance services and parts to our customers is a primary focus for this position.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the preventative maintenance team, focusing on common goals and objectives
Proactively contact customers on service & parts opportunities on both Dürr Systems and competitor's systems, prepare and present proposals to our customers
Travel to promote the business to customers; identify opportunities for product improvement (Travel 15% to 25% of time)
Use creativity to develop new approaches, promotions, and procedures that will increase PM sales and serve Dürr customers at a higher level
Providing direct supervision of field technicians and supporting office team members
Manage a system that provides an automated means to identify customer's equipment that is due for maintenance service.
Ability to provide after-hours support to customers and Service team members
Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes, in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
Provide customers with formal documentation and initiate follow up requests.
Can navigate and understand Dürr business operating systems utilized for tracking future service and parts opportunities, equipment service and parts history, document customer feedback and including opportunity resolution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 3 plus years' experience leading a technical sales team
A strong track record of providing excellent customer communications and sales, through all mediums
Experience servicing industrial equipment is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
Requires strong customer service, sales, and project management skills
