Currently located in DFW, Waco, San Angelo, Houston, Giddings, Denton, Rockwall, Purcell OK, Thackerville OK, Tyler TX, and our newest location in Elkhart IN.

Fun Town is seeking an RV Service Manager to supervise all aspects of a repair shop. The Service Manager will be held accountable for effectively achieving and maintaining dealership goals concerning customer satisfaction, revenue, gross profit and the department.

Essential Duties and

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Review estimates and actual repair time.
  • Manage the Service Department to achieve superior results in customer service and financial performance.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of the Service Department staff.
  • Oversee department personnel and ensure that they follow assigned work schedules and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Enforce safety requirements and federal, state and local regulations that may affect operations
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the Service Department.
  • Managing department staff including Administration, Foreman, Service Writers, and Technicians.
  • Implement training and on-going training and support of department personnel.
  • Maintain awareness of current and projected market conditions.
  • Develop and implement appropriate strategies and programs as necessary to attain the dealerships objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

Qualified candidate will have the following:

  • Prior RV or Automotive experience as a Service Manager.
  • Ability to think beyond industry norms and find ways to increase margins.
  • Reliable and strong work ethic.
  • Professional appearance is a must.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to listen and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Must possess strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Willing to work weekends as needed.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record.

VIEW JOBS 10/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-08T00:00 The Food Service Manager I works a variable eight (8) hour shift in the Central Kitchen and satellite areas under the general supervision of the Asst. Food Service Director. He/she plans, assigns and supervises the work of preparing, serving and storage of food for regular, therapeutic and texture modified diets in central kitchen and in the satellite areas. Inspects foods for quality, quantity, texture, taste and appearance. Supervises the sanitation of satellite areas ensures federal, state and HACCP procedures are followed. Ensures safety procedures and practices for kitchen and food service work are followed. Participates in the selection, training and instruction of personnel. Supervises assigned food service personnel evaluating their job performance following the Positive Performance Program for the management of staff. Responsible for keeping various records of kitchen activities. Responsible for sharing responsibility with the other Managers in assuring that the Food Service Department is running smoothly, filling in on other Manager's shifts as needed. Ensures compliance with quality, quantity and timeliness of work standards. Other duties may be required which are reasonable related to the essential or marginal functions of the position. Essential Job Functions: Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Supervises and monitors daily activities of assigned personnel following the HHSC Performance Management Guidelines, assuring the service area is running smoothly. (55%) Supervises and inspects the sanitation of central kitchen and satellite areas and ensures federal, state and HACCP procedures are followed. (10%) Completing work orders properly and promptly. (5%) Supervises assigned personnel to assure that the safety procedures and practices for kitchen and food service work are followed. (10%) Participates in the selection of Food Service Personnel as needed. (5%) Participates in training and instruction of Food Service Personnel. (10%) Inspects food and supplies received as necessary to ensure quality and quantity. (5%) Follows Training Accountability Policy for Employees and Supervisors. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency's obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location. Knowledge Skills Abilities: Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel management and supervision in food service. Knowledge of training of food service personnel. Knowledge of preparing, serving and storing foods in large quantities. Knowledge of preparing, serving and storing therapeutic and modified texture diets in large quantities. Knowledge of materials, equipment, and appliances used in quantity food preparation and service. Knowledge of the sanitation regulations including federal, state and HACCP procedures. Knowledge of safety procedures for kitchen work in institutions. Ability to plan, organize, direct and supervise the daily tasks of food service personnel. Ability to lift and move light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) as appropriate safely. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. Ability to express oneself effectively and in a professional manner, communicating information clearly and effectively. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with foodservice staff, direct care staff, clients and others. Able to work competently under pressure meeting deadlines. Able to work independently. Demonstrates decision making skills. Ability to perform arithmetical calculations with speed and accuracy. Demonstrates computer skills or ability/commitment to learn to an acceptable level of competency Registration or Licensure Requirements: High school graduation or GED. Prefer Current Food Protection Manager Certification. Valid Texas Driver's License meeting DPS guidelines for motor vehicle operation. Initial Selection Criteria: Experience in the principles and practices of personnel management and supervision in food service preferred. Experience in training of food service personnel preferred. Experience in preparing and serving food in large quantities, preferred. Experience in the sanitation regulations including federal, state and HACCP procedures preferred.
