Lead a global team responsible for the design, development, deployment, installation and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform. This leader will drive innovation and automation across the enterprise utilizing the ServiceNow platform, while also integrating current and future tools. Daily responsibilities will include rolling out Agile SCRUM SDLC across the ServiceNow Platform team; partnering with business units and executive leadership team on innovation and automation.

VIEW JOBS 12/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-11T00:00 Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: The SVP, Platform Analytics role is responsible for leading Synchrony's platform analytics organizations (Retail Card, Payment Solutions, Care Credit and Synchrony Bank) in the development of analytics solutions to drive a transformational customer and client experience. This role reports to the Chief Customer Engagement Officer. The leader will combine deep knowledge of the unsecured lending industry and experience leading large analytics organizations to drive optimal decision making and significantly influence business strategy. Essential Responsibilities: * Define the analytics strategy for our four platform analytics organizations, ensuring that analytics and data-driven decision making is integrated into the platform as well as the Senior Leadership team's agenda on a consistent and measurable basis * Develop an analytics agenda that leverages knowledge of the industry, 3rd party data sources, the latest analytics tools and techniques, driving profitable growth for our platforms * Work cross functionally with central analytics teams to integrate unique analytics capabilities into the platforms, and support tracking the benefit of these capabilities to optimize return and improve end-to-end customer experience for SYF * Leveraging a deep understanding of the retail landscape, help to define and execute the go-to-market analytics support strategy for retailers' analytics requirements * Manage the business insights and solutions functions for ECE, including integrating disparate data source, validation processes, and the latest in delivery technologies to ensure data is well distributed, understood and consumed into the platforms business and performance tracking * Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external key stakeholders, including Marketing, Credit, and IT * Help define and lead the development of critical experiences in analytics to support career development in the function * Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive work experience including: * 10+ years of data analytics leadership experience in financial services, banking, technology, and/or retail industries * In lieu of a degree 14+ years of data analytics leadership experience in financial services, banking, technology, and/or retail industries Desired Characteristics: * Advanced degree/MBA preferred * Financial Services, Retail, ecommerce or advanced marketing analytics Industry experience * Deep and broad knowledge/understanding of the unsecured lending market and how analytics tools and techniques can drive business strategy * Ability to simplify complex data sources into a holistic improved customer experience through data insights and analysis * Strong understanding of profit and loss dynamics in the cards and unsecured lending business * Knowledge of external Regulatory and Compliance Requirements * Strategic thinker with strong judgment and business sense; ability to influence at the highest levels of organizations * In-depth knowledge of how own function integrates within the business and of direct competitors (products/services) * Experience in Analytics leadership roles, preferably with responsibility for multiple analytics functions * Strong executive presence and communication * Excellent people leadership skills and a proven track record of developing high potential talent and delivering results * Experience influencing internal and external senior corporate decision-makers * Excellent change management skills * Self-starter, high level of motivation and ability to work well independently as well as motivate and energize teams Eligibility Requirements: * You must be 18 years or older * You must have a high school diploma or equivalent * You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process * You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. * Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
