Service & Maintenance Engineer

CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a Full Time, Permanent position.

As Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and machinery. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing regular preventive maintenance, and managing service schedules to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Position Summary:

The successfully appointed candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our company’s products and equipment across customer sites in the US. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing installations and repairs, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This role requires a combination of technical experience, problem-solving skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

Travel Flexibly: Be prepared to travel to client locations, sometimes at short notice, to install, maintain, and repair company products and equipment as per service agreements and schedules. Leverage Your Technical Expertise:

Utilize your skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues with machinery, hardware, and software systems efficiently. Perform Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and prevent future issues.

Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of all service activities, including service reports, preventative and corrective maintenance lists, installation records, and inventory management. Efficiently Manage Support Tickets:

Use the desk support portal to track, monitor, and respond to customer support tickets promptly. Engage with Clients: Provide direct technical support to clients, offering monthly reports, answering questions, and guiding them on product usage and maintenance.

Provide Training: Train clients and end-users on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of company products and equipment. Collaborate Across Departments:

Work closely with engineering, sales, and customer support teams to address customer needs and enhance product reliability. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies to continually improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Commit to Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure your safety and the safety of others in the work environment. Support Outside Regular Hours:

Be ready to support customer business needs beyond the typical 9 to 5 working hours, including being available for weekend callouts on a rotational basis. Qualifications and Requirements Documented US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status Possess at least an associate degree from an accredited institution in electronics, electro-mechanical discipline, or equivalent military technical training. Proficiency in troubleshooting electromechanical systems, PLCs, and other automation equipment.

Experience of fault diagnosis on mechanical / pneumatic systems and repair. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex technical issues, identify rout cause and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Willingness to travel frequently and work in diverse environments.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross functional team. High level of accuracy and precision in performing technical tasks, documenting service activities and maintain records. Strong time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines. Experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations and practices.
