How do you excel in this position

The Service Estimator enables quality, delivery, and growth according to Boiler Service objectives, to help ensure service agreement growth and that timely and accurate repair quotes help turn around times, customer uptime, and revenue/profit growth. Position also leads or assists with parts research and sourcing/vendor selection.

What are we looking for:

• High School Diploma required and at least 5 years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education (technical school) and experience.

• Experience in the construction or HVAC industry required including but not limited to boilers, burners, combustion controls and psychometrics (and related large repair project management)

• Demonstrated mastery-level knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.

• Mastery of HVAC&R theory, solid mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair skills required.

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts and blueprints required.

• Be highly motivated and an independent thinker.

• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt/be flexible in a changing environment.

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc.

• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings is required.
