Service Drive Cashier

Pay/Hours: Pay starting at $16 per hour working Full Time Monday-Friday

Job Summary:

As a Service Drive Cashier at Murdock Hyundai of Lindon, you will play a pivotal role in our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. We are specifically looking for a reliable individual who can work Full Time, Monday-Friday. Service Cashiers act as the initial face-to-face customer interaction, playing a significant role in meeting customer standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial face-to-face customer interaction and play a significant role in meeting customer standards.

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate service team members.

  • Extend a warm and friendly welcome to customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere in our service reception area.

  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and organizing service records and documents.

  • Schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient coordination with service technicians and advisors.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing exceptional service and resolving any concerns or issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure smooth workflow, excellent customer satisfaction, and foster positive communication and relationships across all dealership departments, including advisors, technicians, salespeople, and other dealership employees.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Age requirement: 21 years old and up.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Friendly and customer-oriented attitude, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.

  • Ability to handle phone calls professionally, demonstrating patience and a positive attitude.

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.

  • Proficient computer skills, including basic office software knowledge.

  • Prior experience in a customer service or receptionist role is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours may include evenings.

  • Office environment within the service department, with frequent interaction with customers and service team members.

  • Training and support will be provided to ensure success in the role.
