Service Director

About the Role: As a Service Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the profitability and operational success of our company.

This is a leadership position with accountability for team performance, project quality, and overall brand efficiency. You will oversee field operations, coordinate with the production team, and work closely with the operations manager to ensure seamless workflow, from purchase orders to project completion. This role will have P&L responsibility for the department and will be in charge of hiring and implementing the management of roles within the department.

Your objective is to develop the department's revenue and add key positions as the department grows. This role is positioned at the top of the service department and will be working directly with the executive leadership to strategize and grow the department. This role will have a great deal of growth as the Directors actions and management creates an environment for the growth of the department within the company.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and drive profitability by managing gross margin targets and ensuring quality control in all branch projects. Accountable for the contributions of each role within the department, providing guidance and support to ensure each position impacts brand success.

Lead and schedule the field technicians, ensuring timely project execution and maintenance of truck stock, repair processes, and work order production through CenterPoint Connect. Manage all aspects of field operations, including scheduling, materials, and daily crew support. Estimate material or worker requirements to complete projects.

Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to management; makes recommendations for necessary modifications. Collaborate with the operations manager on logistics, purchase orders, and workforce efficiency to optimize project outcomes. Act as the primary communication point for brand operations, supporting daily field and office duties for crews and assisting in the set up of new accounts generated by sales representatives.

Report any issues with ETA, scope of work, and on-site upsells and site bids. Execute inspection reports. Capture and deliver high-quality photos and audiovisual materials of projects and crews to support the company’s initiatives.

Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in roofing service management or a related field. OSHA 10 and/or equipment safety certifications Excellent communication skills Self Driven for department development Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality. Proficiency in managing financials related to gross margin, payroll, and receivables. Bilingual is a plus but not required.
