This position is for a developing professional individual contributor in Information Technology, who works under moderate supervision.
Operates in a specified Senior Analyst role, within the Global Service Desk.
Supports end users, diagnose report and resolve application problems.

Job Description:
Provides Service Desk Support by; supporting users in diagnosing, reporting and resolving or correcting hardware/software problems.
Installs, maintains and troubleshoots hardware/software according to company standards; reconfigures existing systems and/or performs system upgrade s as required.
Logs all issues with appropriate documentation as requested by Level II and III support teams.
Routes calls to appropriate support teams as per described troubleshooting steps.
Monitors and escalates issues until resolution, closure or the appropriate group has accepted.
Operates in a specified role within Global Service Desk (Training, Knowledge Base, Deskside, Process, Ticket reviews, Team Leader cover).
Participates in projects as assigned.
Level 1 service desk analyst role
Level one trouble shooting
Microsoft Office Suite
Customer service oriented
Call center experience
Accustomed to call center metrics
Will be taking 40-50 calls a day
VPN troubleshooting
Active directory understanding

Skills:
Operates in a specified Senior Analyst role, within the Global Service Desk.

The Technical Support Specialist provides first level system support, problem identification, resolution or escalation to level two support. Provides systems support to offices by reviewing/analyzing requests and providing solutions. This position is expected to resolve a wide variety of system support issues and identify problems or issues that require departmental leadership team for resolution. Organizes and prioritizes work to meet processing deadlines. TRAVEL: Approximately 10% with some overnight stays MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide support on system support requests or escalates to the proper level of support. Support may include phone and tablet support, external customer support with online tools, field office visits for rollouts, video conferencing support, new employee setups, software deployments, and computer setups, and team based troubleshooting. Able to provide support via phone queue, walkup support, chat\instant messaging, and email\portal support. Document system problem, solutions and resolution in ticketing system. 2. Communicates effectively with customers, Farm Credit Mid-America employees, Agribank staff, Farm Credit Services of America, and other vendors to process and account system activity an accurate and timely manner. 3. Resolve level one system support inquires in a timely manner. 4. Maintain expertise in business systems and association practices to provide technical support to field office staff on business system issues. 5. Coordinate with Louisville office staff to identify and implement system/procedural changes. 6. Assist/participate in training staff. 7. Participate actively in team meetings to support Business Technology leaders, maintain\ improve team performance, and identify issues for discussion and training. 8. Participate in special business system projects or training. 9. Actively participates and represents the Business Technology department on cross functional teams. 10. Represents and communicates the mission and values of Farm Credit Mid-America and complies with its conduct policy, security policy and confidentiality expectations. 11. Complete HDI Support Center Analyst and ITIL Foundations training. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience Associate's degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent work experience.
