Taos is immediately hiring a Senior Service Desk Manager for a cutting-edge financial company in San Francisco, CA!

Who you are:
You are a senior technologist with extensive knowledge of desktop technologies and patching. Your experience gives you the perspective to see the big picture while managing a large-scale onshore/offshore service desk. You understand the challenges of working in a regulated or financial services environment. You are comfortable heading up enterprise-wide deployments as well as configuration management initiatives. You have excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to work well with both management and end-users.

What youll be doing:
Managing a 25 person onshore / offshore primarily Windows based Service Desk
Overseeing the configuration of desktops and laptops for the entire bank.
Keeping on top of patch management and ensuring patching remains at current levels
Managing / tracking large-scale deployments
Ensuring security controls remain in place on workstations

What youll bring with you:
Strong Service Desk Management experience.
Configuration / Deployment Management skills.
Hands-on Windows support / Patching skills
Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
A strong strategic vision to see the big picture from both a technology and business perspective
Ability to pass a FINRA background check

Responsibilities/Essential Functions: * Process car rental transactions for Express customers, and prepare and create rental agreements through use of computer system. * Greet customers, and disclose rates, terms and conditions of rental while using approved sales techniques to encourage customers to utilize incremental car rental products; obtain customer signatures when needed. * Assists customers with directions, and review and resolve rental contract and vehicle issues; process vehicle exchanges. * Instruct customers on how to update their profiles. * Organize and maintain cleanliness of rental office/cashier booth area. * Enter and maintain information in location logs, as required. * Distribute keys. Mandatory Requirements Required Qualifications: * Knowledge and skill in the operation of car rental software and hardware * Knowledge of car rental operations * Ability to manage stressful and unusual situations while maintaining good customer relations * Good organizational skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely * Ability to speak and understand English * Car rental product knowledge and ability to use effective and approved sales techniques, as required * Ability to type and perform accurate data entry * Ability to process all paper according to policies and procedures Required Education/Experience: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Prefer 9 to 12 months car rental or sales experience * Valid driver's license as required by state.
