Job Description

As a member of the Lodging General Accounting team, the Service Delivery Ops Senior Analyst manages both external and internal audit requests for client's hotels. Responsibilities include: timely response to audit requests, following standards for audits, compliance with control narratives, managing the assignment of the requests and tracking these requests in order to provide data analytics.

This role will have daily interactions with off-shore team. In addition, the Senior Analyst is involved with month end financial close activities for hotels and assists as required within the Operations Accounting. This position reports to the Service Delivery Operations Team Lead and provides a weekly status update of all audit requests that are open, in progress or closed.

VIEW JOBS 1/19/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-18T00:00 Summary: This position will report to the Director of Financial Reporting and Analytics and will be responsible to support the Finance Department with respect to financial reporting functions for the Company and the Parent Company ("Cineworld"), including but not limited to financial reporting, accounting research financial analysis and various other finance-based projects and initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Assist with preparation of financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with IFRS, including a statement of cash flow * Assist with preparation of interim and year-end financial reporting packages submitted to Cineworld, including required disclosures * Assist in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements * Research technical accounting issues and clearly draft conclusions reached in accounting memos * Prepare and/or review various accounting analyses in accordance with IFRS standards, including but not limited to the annual impairment analysis * Compile internal monthly reporting package for Cineworld * Assist with due diligence aspects for debt offerings, acquisitions and other transactions * Interact with and assist the external auditors during the interim and year-end financial statement audit * Assist with annual budget process; prepare the monthly financial forecast * Work with internal departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards * Provide support in the consolidation of financial statements at the Parent company level * Other special projects as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various levels of management. Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
