Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for managing the implementation, delivery and activation of secure network connectivity to any location in the world via GTT cloud networking services to multinational enterprises, carriers and government clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the rapid installation of cloud networking services for new and existing customers

  • Tightly manage install dates to committed customer dates

  • Manage multiple external and internal resources to meet critical milestones

  • Manage customer expectations by communicating on a regular basis with all order delivery updates

  • Communicate with multiple vendors to provision and activate services

  • Escalate, track and resolve provisioning issues quickly

  • Provide hands-on support for escalations and issue resolution

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be highly organized, proactive and able to function in a fast moving environment

  • 5-7 years telecom experience required

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced setting

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience in Ethernet, IP, TDM and routers required

  • Strong background in provisioning and activation of Transport/Telecom services and Data Communications

  • Departmental management experience a plus

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office software suite

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

VIEW JOBS 7/15/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-10-13T00:00 Job Description Job Number: R0028448 Managed Threat Services/Service Delivery Manager Key Role: Provide account leadership to the Managed Threat Services delivery teams, direct teams to develop program and project strategies, implement resulting solutions to meet contract deliverables and client expectations, serve as the post-sales point of contact for commercial clients, coordinate with sales, internal team members, and client teams to ensure the client has a smooth onboarding experience, implement Booz Allen Hamilton's Cyber Managed Threat Services tailored specifically to client needs, and ensure that the services are meeting the needs of clients, including selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Provide white-glove service to every client, including educating clients and addressing questions or concerns through the life cycle of the engagement, manage Booz Allen's Commercial security services resources, including direct and dotted line employees, coordinate with client resources to deliver in scope services and solutions on schedule, manage quality of Security Services provided by the delivery teams, track and report on service level performance by the operations teams, and develop and administer security processes, and review their application to ensure that security controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively. Serve as a point of escalation with accountability for prompt identification, resolution, and communication of delivery issues, including contract gaps, resource, or schedule issues that may impact client satisfaction and security services revenue and profit, supervise and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the security capabilities being delivered through improvements to each function and coordination and communication between support and business functions, maintain responsibility for managing delivery critical situations, lead root cause analysis, build continuous improvement plans, and provide oversight for the identification, investigation, and response of events or incidents of apparent security breaches. Oversee delivery operations in the account, including reviewing delivery of services to scope and defined schedule, participate in scope change discussions, manage financial targets, coordinate resources and contract changes, manage client expectations and satisfaction, communicate effectively and consistently with the client and BAH stakeholders on program status and issues, bring thought leadership or share best practices with the client on topics of interest, work with the security work streams to design and build aggregated operational Cyber Fusion Center performance metrics and monthly program status reports, present updates to the client, adapting messages to the level of the audience, including operations management and C suite, support the account team in identifying growth opportunities and contract profitability, and play a significant role in long-term security strategy and planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence.
