For more than 35 years, WhiteWater, Inc., has been managing, operating, and maintaining water and wastewater facilities in the Northeast with pride and professionalism. WhiteWater Inc., is seeking a dynamic, dependable and organized professional to fill the role of Service Coordinator in our Charlton Ma location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of water system operations and maintenance including but not limited to daily inspections of water treatment facilities, accurate on site record keeping, distribution system maintenance and inspections, and interaction with the public.
This person will be primarily responsible for supporting all facets of drinking water compliance, interaction with regulatory authorities and the public. This individual will regularly interact with a diverse group of team members both in an office setting and individuals in the field. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required for this position.
Maintain sampling schedules, tracking sampling for all systems and ensuring all sampling is completed.
Issue, maintain and communicate sampling work reports including delinquent samples to appropriate team members; Communicate all sampling results and related correspondence to required recipients (i.e.: WEI staff, DEP, Local Board of Health, Owner, Etc.)
Develop, organize and maintain coliform and lead and copper sampling plans; Compile data for Consumer Confidence and Annual Statistics Reports.
Update, archive and maintain file systems.
Maintain Compliance with all State and Federal regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Work is performed independently under the general supervision of the support supervisor.
Other administrative functions and duties may be assigned in other WhiteWater units as required.
One-year experience in a similar positon is desired. High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook and other MS office functions.
Ability to read, analyze interpret data/results and respond to common inquiries or requests fro customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community, Ability to clearly and concisely present information to team members management, public groups and /or clients.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Regulatory comprehension is essential. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ideal candidate to hold a professional license such a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Grad I Drinking Water Distribution license, Grad I Treatment License, Backflow Prevention Device Inspectors License and or Back flow Surveyors License of ability to obtain.
