SUMMARY

The Coordinator has primary responsibility for customer and technician communication, keeping current with the job status and communicating this status to the customer daily. Coordinator II has a higher level of experience and competence associated with industry products and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult with Product Support Sales Representatives, Service Managers/Supervisors and Service Coordinators with quoting parts and service opportunities.

  • Source non-OEM parts, estimating costs, and providing quotes.

  • Investigate and resolve customer service issues as related to parts availability and parts and service pricing,

  • Determine proper labor rates for service jobs at hand, build and maintain standard jobs data base for OEM equipment

  • Maitain an accurate quote data base that is accessible to the parts and service team.

  • Work with the Service Mangers/Supervisors and consult, as needed, with other Company subject matter experts to ensure quotes are accurate in materials, labor, and support requirements for increased profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain a close positive working relationships and open communications with all associates, sales, service, technical departments, and vendors.

  • Pursue training and development opportunities.

  • Flexbility for travel, training, or meetings based upon the company's needs.

  • Should have basic proficiency in the following:

  • Familiarity with different types of steel and metals

  • Familiarity with basic metalworking processes

  • Excel

  • PSQ/CRM

  • Modern

  • DBS

  • SISWEB

  • Ability to read prints and technical drawings

  • Communicate with customers in a timely manor on work in process

  • Work closely with Service Manager on WIP status and invoicing WIP

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-5 years related experience and/or training. AA or AS degree in Business or Technical discipline desirable. Must be proficient with MS Office software such as Excel and Word. Must have a proficient industry product knowledge. CAT Dealer Operations experience is preferred.

VIEW JOBS 2/5/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-05T00:00 Key Responsibilities * Monitors vehicle preparation and sale process and communicates with lane, department managers, market sales team, and other coordinators to ensure each vehicle crosses the auction block on sale day and ensures vehicles are re-run if necessary * Provides direct communications link to customers to ensure their expectations are met and service issues are resolved * Educates dealers on all Manheim products and services * Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves customer problems and issues * Serves as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and location personnel to reconcile problems and to maintain a high level of customer service * Walk vehicles for/with account representative and make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value * Reviews vehicles in sales line-up, locates missing vehicles, and coordinate with customers and operations to ensure that vehicles are prepared for sale (i.e., approval for repairs, frame checks, mileage, and VIN check) * Maintain communication with vehicle check-in and lot operations to ensure all required processing is completed on dealer vehicles (i.e., recon, inspections, details, etc.) * Follow- up as necessary * Coordinate with lot operations and quadrant coordinators to ensure appropriate scanning and organization of account vehicles * Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Effective communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills required * Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment * Computer skills, including ability use Internet and MS Office * Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment * Excellent customer service and problem solving skills required * Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time * Ability to perform repetitive tasks * Manual dexterity * 1 - 3 years Auction experience or 2 - 4 years dealership experience strongly preferred. * Experience in sales support role desired About Cox Automotive Cox Automotive Inc. makes buying, selling and owning cars easier for everyone, while also enabling mobility services.
