SUMMARY

Responsible for routine planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources. Also responsible for customer interaction, communicating with the Field Technician Supervisors, and coordinating jobs with Project Managers. Typically requires a one-year certificate from college or technical school; or six (6) months to three (3) years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.

  • Coordinates service resources.

  • Assigns team members to project

  • Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability.

  • Inputs project location to system.

  • Generates Work Order Documents, dispatches technicians, and notifies customers.

  • Responsible for customer interaction/satisfaction

  • Interacts and communicates with all Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisor to assign/dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians

  • Coordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary.

  • Reviews project paperwork, complete calls, and forwards project paperwork to Project Administrators.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests.

  • Logs service start-up and service work requirements in job tracking system.

  • Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.

  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Typically requires a one-year certificate from college or technical school; or six (6) months to three (3) years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products.

  • Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Valid Driver's License (occasional field visits)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. VIEW JOBS 2/7/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-07T00:00 POSITION PURPOSE The Patient Services Training Coordinator for the Patient Services department serves as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team which manages the care of ambulatory and home infusion patients. The Training Coordinator works closely with the management of the department as well as corporate training staff in providing and coordinating training for the staff including new hire and ongoing training functions. The coordinator also is responsible for creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the department in collaboration with the accreditation team. In addition, the coordinator will facilitate training for system releases/enhancements. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING Experience/Education * High school diploma or equivalent. * Associate/bachelor's degree preferred. * Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a related position. * Training experience preferred. Other Qualifications * A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers. * Must be able to assume a flexible work schedule. Interpersonal Skills * Must have excellent interpersonal skills in handling interactions with Palmetto Infusion staff, other agencies, groups, patients and families. Technology Skills: * Competent in creating and updating standard operation procedures documentation. * Competent in use of company email as means of communication, accessing the company website to view company policies and electronic medical records. * Competent in the use of company self-service payroll software (time and attendance, benefits, pay statements). * Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products and the ability to navigate Internet Explorer. Proficient in typing, word processing (Microsoft Outlook/Express, Word, Excel), and familiar with office equipment. * Proficient in the operation of CPR+. Language Skills * This position requires a knowledge of, and sensitivity to, cultural and language differences. Mathematical Skills * Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability * There are a number of deadlines associated with this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES * Develops training plans for new hire training in conjunction with corporate trainer * Utilizes centralized online resource to house training materials, including SOP's, work instruction guides, assessments, checklists, etc. * Facilitates training of existing staff for process/system updates * Develops training materials for each functional area based on SOP's and best practices * Creates master list of SOP's that includes dates of review/revision * Writes/facilitates SOP's for key functional areas in collaboration with management and accreditation teams * Reviews system release/enhancement notes to determine impacts and performs training for affected staff * Develop and administer competency testing for key functional areas to assess job readiness * Collaborate with Quality team to identify training needs based on process improvement initiatives * Performs special projects as assigned. * Attends meetings and in-services as required. * Takes initiative to present ideas/suggestions to management. * Promotes Palmetto Infusion culture by providing quality, comprehensive services to all customers through a team approach. * Ensures work meets quality standards and demonstrates reliability and follow-through on all assigned tasks.
